He is an anti-gun guy and he said. "Well, you can't eat ammunition". I replied with "When I'm starving to death with a case of ammunition, who's door do you think I am going to knock on?"

A beautiful Remington 12 ga. full choke Trap gun given to me from my father when I was 12 years old-back in 1978. I'm 45 yrs. old now and still have it. Funny, I shot my first 12 ga. when I was 10 or so years old and weighed 90 + lbs. at the time. I could hardly hold the gun up to shoot. The family requirement was that I had to weigh 110 lbs. for my dad to buy me my own 12 ga. The following Christmas I weighed in at 113 lbs. and damn sure I let him know.

The first firearm I ever bought was a Japanese Arisaka Type 99 long rifle in 1982 from the San Francisco Gun Exchange. They gave me a brown plastic bag to cover it and I rode the cable car back to where I was staying. Got a lot of stares.

Makarov 9X18 pistol. Keeping it for the duration.
Then I got bitten by the gun bug big time. So I guess that one was the enabler?
