That bonus was unintentional, but a bonus all the same. Nobody lectures me about how my featureless carbines are illegal at the range. And I always have empty lanes on either side of me!

If the vampires start scoping me out, I just talk to them real close, in a really loud whisper. Then laugh maniacally as the flesh peels of their face....

Could probably get away with FSJ slugs (full silver jacket). Would be cheaper in these days of $25 silver...

Follow the Monster Hunters Inc approach, if you don't have silver ammo:

Shoot the bejeebers out of it, until it drops to the ground to regenerate.
Then hack its head off or burn it or whatever else you need to do.

Lead is just a sedative for those things.

                    I don't know man.

I have no problem dealing with zombies, robots, warewolves and mutants but somehow I feel kind of uneasy with vampires and gnomes.

The linked all photos remind me... we need more vampire movies where Kate Beckinsale wears skintight and revealing clothing. ;-)

As for Vampires, the first question you have to ask is: who's writing the book?

If it's a Bram Stoker vampire, I don't think silver will work, but an iron nail in the head will. Thus, use Wolf ammo and go for head shots

Anne Rice? Her vampires are a lot more badass in a fight, but when they are injured they do "stay down" for brief periods of time. Shotgun blasts to the chest, set them on fire, scatter the ashes.

Twilight? They sparkle, they are vegetarian, and they like to hang out with people. These aren't vampires, they are fairies. Don't sweat it, just keep their whiny pouty selves away from your daughters.

I've written up my ongoing adventures as I learn to hunt.

Yes, you CAN fit a case of shotgun shells into a .50cal ammo can.

I think i found an optimal solution for ammo can labeling.

I made this target for the NRA's Marksman pistol test. I think it's a lot better than the paper plate they suggest.
