I remember there used to be bolsa wood wood rounds for revolvers, anyone have any reloading data for those?

Just do like Van Helsing and shoot them with crossbow bolts dipped in holy water! I wonder if his FA crossbow with hi-cap drum mag was NFA registered in Transilvania? Or was he exempt cuz he was on orders from the Pope? LOL

You know, even Buffy needed a little extra firepower every once in a while.



In classic vampire tales, the stake had to stay in the heart. If it was removed the vampire would rise again. So getting a wooden bullet to hit the heart and stay there would be a bit tricky. The only way to permanently slay a vampire was to stuff its mouth with daisies and cut its head off. That's a little hard to do in close combat. Best bet: Hunt it down during the daytime. Or, use a rocket launcher. Your call.

Wood tipped rounds were used much later than WWI.
German MG blank rounds were wood tipped in WWII.
I have a bunch of wood tipped Egyptian 7.62x54r blanks. The wooden bullets are hollow and vaporize/shred when they hit the restrictor in the SVT40.

Might work if you made custom wood bullets out of iron wood or similar very hard wood.

Silver rifled shotgun slugs straight to the heart work great for both vampires and werewolves!

I remember getting a real kick out of the fact that my supplier had shotgun slugs made out of silver. My mind went straight to werewolves and vampires.
