Think about how much all the special effects cost in these movies, and think about how much it cost to read the box on the prop.. or even consult a single person with a firearm..

[QUOTE=xibunkrlilkidsx;3380796]just gotta type IDDQD or maybe thats invincibility....

Not a movie fail but there was a picture of a female cop with an ar15/m4 that had the magazine in backwards. i tinhk i had the pic saved ill look.
            found it.

This picture was discussed at length when it first appeared. The outcome was definitely Photoshop, One give away was the length of her index finger above the trigger.

just watched pelham 123. after the swat/sniper team deployed... the sniper would always be loading a round into the chamber every time they cut to him. I think when he finally fired, it was 2-3 rounds at once!!

                Does NCIS: LA count?

Last episode drove me nuts with the agent "glassing" his kidnapped partner. Yeah, always a good idea to use a rifle scope to watch your friend. Guess they forgot rule #2.

Wait I got a great one! Anyone see Gang Wars: Oakland II? This is a real life goof. One of the gang members is showing off their guns, drops a mag out of a pistol (he had it tucked into the front of his pants with no trigger guard?) - shows the camera the top of the magazine and says something like: You see this purple bullet, this will basically blow someone up..." Yeah, it was a snap cap. LOL

You hear that, Glock owners? According to Hollywood, you're:

Not a hollywood mess up, but similar. Growing up, I remember watching this scene from an action movie (from the Philippines), the hero basically killed all the villains, he is riding his horse with his revolver on his hip, and a machete on the opposite side. You get the picture? As he is riding down the hill, two villains come towards him. He pulls his revolver, sees that he has one round left... What does he do? He pulls his machete out and places the blade in front of his revolver, takes aim, then fires. He splits the bullet in two and kills both bad guys. This was like in the 70's or early 80's. I swear, I did that so many times when played cowboy.

That.....or you always see the COPs or the PI (I remember this in Magnum PI all the time) He's going into a building after someone and they always stop at the door and rack the slide. Why are these guys always walkin' around with a basically cold weapon?

I know....its dramatics for hollywood but still.
