Not gun but gun related? Does that make sense?

Movie: Untraceable - about an internet FBI agent that hunts bad guys on the internet and ends up chasing a live internet killer or some garbage. Watched this the other night and turned it off after a certain sentence was uttered. The scene is she is tracking a suspected pedophile on line and pulls up his "background" or runs some check. She's looking for some reason to find the guy guilty and oh whats this? "He's a registered gun owner." That's it, guilty. She calls the swat team on the guy to kick his door in based on the fact that he owns guns.

"click" off wwent the movie and the Hollywood propaganda.

How about when two guys face off against one another and have their weapons pointed at the other guy's head. They just sit there like it's a stalemate and if they pull the trigger, the other guy will too. Doubtful. First guy to pull the trigger wins.

Superman would interupt a bank robbery and the robber would empty his pistol on Superman as he watched all the bullets bounce off of him. When the gun started with the "click click click" he would frown at the gun and throw it at Superman like that was going to have any effect after 6 rounds just bounced off of him.

I love the story about how the actors did their firearms training for that movie. They used Taran Butler, and towards the end of the training, Taran had them (armed with paintball guns) try to storm a room he was holding. Taran held them for after repeated attempts, with pretty painful results to the actors.

When all was done, Taran asked Jennifer Garner, "No hard feelings?" She then proceeded to shoot him in the nuts with the paintball gun and said, "Not anymore."

haha I realized another thing, I don't have a specific example but I lets remember the HUGE weight difference between a pistol with 10 rounds in it verses ZERO rounds in it!!

Not really a terrible fail, but "The Thin Red Line" had a part where the troops were in route aboard ship to Guadalcanal (1942), and there was a scene where John Travolta was talking to someone (can't remember) and a soldier had an M1 Carbine with an adjustable sight and bayonet lug behind him. Just a few years ahead of when they were in production.Only a militaraia nut would have seen that though.

And don't forget that when that gun was thrown, Superman would duck!

Don't forget when someone pulls a handgun out, such as a Glock or some other internal hammer handgun, and they put the sound of a hammer being pulled back lol

Well you can put a cig down and then shoot and pick it back up. I saw a guy at the range once light one up and then pick up this AK and proceed to shoot it with a cig hanging out of the corner of his mouth. nevermind thathe had to squint cause he was getting smoke in his eye The ashes or the hot cherry broke apart and got some on his arm. Weapon went down and he completely lost any control he had and swept his buddy and a couple of other people with a HOT weapon.
The dude thought he was Mr Cool when he picked up the AK.

How many times have you guys seen someone at a range try and be all tactical like they are in the movies. you know the guy that is all intense in the way they talk and act? Like his instructions are gods own words?
ive seen guys try and shoot shotguns single handed like the terminator or single hand pump the shotgun and then try and catch it single handed and shoot it? or the guy shooting his gun sideways with his hand above his head
I saw it a few times. 98% of the people i see at the range are safe shooters. its the 2% that think theire a action hero that scare me

Oh yeah? Then why does Superman DUCK when the gun is thrown at him?

Hawaii Five-O episodes where some character would check their S&W five shot and the close up is a six shot cylinder.

Magic revolvers that change from one model to another and then back again.

Semi autos that are fired once and go to slide lock, then are back in battery a second later.(Obviously the script reads "Hero fires a shot." so the prop guy loads only one round.)

A character opens his double action revolver and spins the cylinder. The sound affect is that of a single action on half cock; the hand drags on the ratchet. Open, the hand is nowhere near the ratchet on a DA.

Nobody in the movies knows if their weapon is loaded. Prior to any action, they always check.

Val Kilmer fires three shots from a double barrel shotgun at the O.K. Corral in "Tombstone" without reloading.

Some scene cuts, back to the 1911 and the slide has since dropped while she's still pulling the trigger.

It's been a while since seeing that movie so I may have some elements of the series of mistakes out of line. But there were sooooo many things wrong in that scene, if you paid attention, your head would hurt.
ummm that's no 1911 she is shooting...
