That shoulder wallet looks like a purse. I?ve just got this little lanyard with my permit and my drivers license and a debit card in it. It?s about the size of a credit card and goes around my neck on a little ball chain. Like the one you use for dog tags. I?m thinking about swapping that out for Paracord.sigpic

I won't criticize you bro. Everyone has to find a way that works for them.
So, more details are needed. I don't think you've said what you're carrying and in what holster etc etc etc! We are CalGUNS after all. Not CalWALLET.

A lot of plain clothes detectives have their ties cut and sewn with velcro break away for that reason.
Why not a money clip with the DL, ccw and cc? The weight of the clip will keep it in your pocket.Comment

Lanyard that I?m wearing now has a breakaway attachment. That?s like the ones at work. They all have breakaway classes. I?m looking at the Wallet that has the AirTag card in itsigpic

Eventually you'll forget it's there, but then feel naked without it. While getting out of my truck at the gas station, I had my roscoe pop outta my holster, which I then drop-kicked across the cement and underneath my truck and into the median of the station. At least two or three guys saw me, but CCW isn't uncommon 'round these parts..Originally posted by ysr_racerPlease don't bring logic and reason into an interwebs discussion

I had a permit for 20 years before the new police chief decided that he did not like guns. I am moving in a few months to San Bernardino so I have been waiting to get another one. I remember 25 years ago when I first got the permit no one had one and it did seem kind of strange to pack my Glock 19. I then switched to my Colt Mustang and it was easier to carry. I used to carry it in my pocket most of the time. The biggest hassle was taking it out and storing it when going to the post office or federal buildings. I usually put it in the trunk, but I hated taking it out and hoping no one would see me putting it away.
I know, I know, many here think that a .380 is inadequate, but it is better than your fists, especially when you are over 55. I never had to draw it or use it in those many years, and I hope when I get my new CCW to never have to use it. The worst thing that can happen is actually using it. Even if you are justified it will cost you at least $100,000 in legal fees if some DA decides to charge you. So the best thing to do is to walk away from dicey situations and not take a chance.Comment
