Once you Glock fans grow some pubes you'll see the light.

Very mature comment from a 1911 lover

Bro, my Glock 22 shoots Wolf and spits fire. Can you argue with that? Nearly two thousand rounds and not a single gun induced malfunction. Can your 1911 say that? If I had to rely on a pistol, which is where everyone goes wrong in the first place, it would be my Glock. But I sure do love a TRP!

-Just doing my part to keep this thread going!!!!

Can anyone think of any other technology that was developed in 1911 that we could have this debate over? The 1911 is still one of the best tools for the job it was designed for, almost 100 years after its invention. I'm curious if any of the current "wonder" pistols will be around as long?

                Or under one's pillow?

Even a Phaser wears out, or runs out of ammo, eventually!

I would only go with 9mm Glock but in .45 ACP 1911 is the way to go...

Sig's 1911 is not a top of the line 1911.

No, but it won't break the bank either.

There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
The wise, learn from the mistakes of others.
The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

Yeah, the .45 ACP argument for the 1911 doesn't cut it due to the sheer capacity issue.
