Why not have him send it without a grip? It doesn’t need a featureless grip, it just needs features removed. Have him remove the original pistol grip and send it out. You can buy a grip later and install it yourself.

I certainly wouldn’t be happy with a 6 month wait time on a grip removal.

I tried that it said the item is not eligible for reroute. I spoke to solar tactical and they are pretty much saying I am **** out of luck

It does. This is a pic of the KNS Plastic Delete Kit, but the original comes off too. A bit more removing than an AR or AK, but it does come off.

            Ended up at USPS where?

If it's local, go pick it up. If it's remote, contact Postmaster at that facility, give tracking info, and request redelivery. If that's not possible, talk to them about options.

This shouldn't be rocket science. But simply sitting on the problem pretty much guarantees nothing further will happen.

This thread is over a month old, with the drama going on even longer. My suggestion? Order a new fin grip, have the OP receive it from the vendor and then send it to Phil. Or, the OP can just continue complaining and never receive his firearm.

Conversion of what? There are some cookie cutter guns he may have parts for. AR, AK?

But anybody expecting this man to have parts for every possible conversion that could ever be needed, on hand, should put down their crack pipe. If you have a Galil v2 with a v1.47 grip (honestly I am not sure anyone knows what is happening here, to include the OP), well you best take matters into your own hands when it comes to parts acquisition.

And at least you apparently communicated this point back and forth with Phil, whereas OP apparently just assumed.

I am going to the post office tomorrow. Yes it does take.me up to an hour for this. I lose at least $100 doing this stuff since I'm not working.

I'm not going today through my conversations with this guy but he was told in advance what was needed. His grip was wrong. Once a part is wrong the gun goes to the back of the line. Its not fair to others that se d me the right parts.

I only.stock ar and ak fins since that is the bulk of work. If I stock other stuff I have to raise prices. I did that with buttons. I have about $1000 worth of buttons that are scrap now.

Fins are not perfect. Even the strike industries parts usually have bad screws. I have bags of correct screws I buy online and always test thread the screws so I didn't nt cross thread.

Maybe the OP will have the courtesy to rename his thread title to issue solved.

And when they get back home and have the film from their trip developed, they find a bunch of photos with a couple of the locals wiping their butt-holes with the couples' toothbrushes?

WOW! I can spend my money more wisely. Customer service trumps all! I have zero to do with this other than being in the peanut gallery, but damn, how condescending was that reply back to OP from Biz owner.

Someone on here has his personal contact. He was off for a month or more, then responds in 1 day after post is created!

                                Interesting, just saying!
