Lost firearm from middleman? Help?

This. Why couldn't the item just be dropped off? Who orders a piece of bent Kydex with signature required - and who would even ship it like that??
Maybe there is some other issue - surely this can't be a signature required issue

First. I didn't order it signature required. They shipped it per their policies which I was not aware of until solar tactical called.. . I didn't order any complaint parts when the gun was shipped, thinking the middleman would have what necessary or will have their own connections to parts. I only ordered it after Phil called me one time per their suggestion of the company. I am completely new to the middleman process with the complaint stuff.
Edit:so far this is what happened on my side. I ordered the rifle. Shipped to middleman for conversion. Waited for a call. Contact was made with alphacat. Alphacat says I need a grip wrap, he usually get them from solar tactical. So I order one. Shipped to middleman. I followup again and get told. They sent the wrong grip. The grip is a gen 1 and it will not fit on gen 2 per middleman. This causes confusion, I ordered a gen 1 galil. I reply, no answer. This causes me to start the thread due to confusion that was created. Figured gun was lost or a mix up. No answer. I order another grip wrap from calguns suggestions. The wrap is now somehow ended up at usps facility due to whatever reason they couldn't deliver. Now iam back to step one.Last edited by Somuchguns; 10-08-2021, 5:19 PM.Comment

I don't know Phil. I've never had any business dealings with him. I do KNOW FOR A FACT that OP knew exactly where his rifle was. And that it WASN'T LOST. By Phil or anyone else.Chill out.
We all, or most of us, know Phil is good to go and has a great reputation. It doesn’t automatically mean the OP is completely unjustified in his frustration.
I bet if this was a different middle man with the same situation, you guys would be singing a different tune.
My comment was made solely on the basis that the OP POSTED AN UNTRUE AND PREVARICATIVE TITLE. In an obvious attempt to prompt quicker action on the part of the middleman that HE CHOSE to do business with.
I don't give a crap who the OP is blatantly telling lies about. Such behavior reflects poorly on his character.Lost firearm from middleman? Help?Last edited by pacrat; 10-08-2021, 6:42 PM.Comment

Hey, anyone remember that urban-legend about the honeymooning couple from the US that goes to a swanky hotel in Haiti, but treats the hotel staff like crap?
And when they get back home and have the film from their trip developed, they find a bunch of photos with a couple of the locals wiping their butt-holes with the couples' toothbrushes?
Classic.

Actually every time I’ve used Alphacat/Phil, he did have all the needed compliance parts. Hence my suggestion to let them make it compliant.---------------------
