Just got out of River City Guns in Sacramento
The line was out the door Some people were inside waiting 3 hours.
A line of at least 30 inside just for ammo... another 30 at least that were taking the gun card test many people were buying guns that have never had one before...

I guess people ran out of TP so they went to buy firearms....

The panic is real.

I did PPT at Ricks n was done in 10mins. I walked out with the buyer to BS for 2 mins. In that time frame. There where 10 to 15 people that showed up. Watched 5 take a test for the first time. 2 wanted to order guns. 1 guy wanted ammo n picked up all the 9mm/556. Some 12g n 44. Others picked up the cheapest guns Rick’s had in stock. I heard other first time buyers say they were told to get ( The 40 ) Glocks n S&W where almost gone. I wanted a hour until it was my turn.

I even had a FFL call me up n ask if I wanted to sell some of my 357 Sig ammo to one of there good customers. because He was picking up his gun. he wanted. 500rds bit they only had 200rds in stock

City arms east was pretty darn busy today when I picked up my latest Glock. Lots of new gun owners, and they were out of 9mm. Plenty of .40 and most other stuff. Lots of exclamations about how it is so hard to buy guns and ammo. Hopefully the experience opens some eyes.

Walked into the local Bass Pro this afternoon and picked up some ammo, in and out. Checker had no line.

I went to Turner's on Florin at around 4pm. Didnt even want to mess with RCGE. There were only 3 other people in front of me. They said it was super busy all day and only slowed down right before I walked in. A guy that was buying a Rem 870 said he was in yesterday and it was empty. So I think everyone decided to panic buy on the weekend.

I ended up getting an M&P10 for $899. I had been eyeing it for a while. It wasnt a panic decision. There were plenty of AR15s on the shelf. People seemed to be buying pistols and shotguns. Basic SD guns.

Bummer on the ammo panic. I was hoping they wouldn't start jacking up prices until Biden was the nominee and election season price surge kicked in. I doubt they will come back down. Hopefully Trump wins
