Wow, this is crazy stuff. I have a few pistols I was going to sell later in the year, maybe I should post them now... anyone want a pair of sequential serial number G43x?

Bass Pro in Rancho said they are suspending all sales of ammo and firearms indefinitely - as of yesterday 03/14 - 4pm I went in to buy a shepards hook for a steel target and there were easily over 200 people upstairs in the firearms department.
My daughter jokes that it was time for everyone to buy a bow LoL

Strange times. During the LA Riots when there was a clear a present danger to not being armed the panic wasn't nearly as bad as it is now. The 3 gun shops that I went to had no lines and had plenty of guns and ammo in stock. One shop, National Gun Sales on Hawthorne Blvd had their ammo roped off due LA forbidding the sale of ammo during the riots. The other 2 stores, Turner's in Buena Park and B&B in Westminster had no restrictions and no crowds.

That was over 25 years ago, or, a quarter-century. There were less people living here, -and- less of them were the third-world types that hoard suddenly as we're seeing today.

I wish I was... I over heard quite a few first time buyers too who had no idea there was a waiting period or ammo background check

There use to a Turners in Buena Park? That's awesome. I'm 34 and lived in Buena Park my whole life and must not of been old enough to remember that. I do remember going to one in Stanton on Beach Blvd when I was a kid.

Ya, you are right. I mis-spoke. It was in Stanton. But not the one on Beach and GG Blvd. That's where it moved to from its previous location. I can't remember the address.

I got all scared after reading this. Decided I better get to Sportsman's Warehouse and buy ammo.

Jumped up. Got dressed. Scrambled around trying to find my truck keys.

                            Looked EVERYWHERE for them.

Then I remembered I left them next to my Dillion 1050 (w/bullet feeder) while I was cranking out a few thousand 9mm (major PF) rounds.

Duh!!! It hit me....I don't need to buy ammo......

What do you hear ???...... Nothing but the rain. Well grab your gun and bring in the cat.

I remember posting some time last year of the eventual amazement and dumb questions to come in February and March of 2020, from the vacuous-headed, in the tone of "when did that happen?" and "what do you mean?" and "hey, did you hear there's a background check for ammo now?" as they conveniently and apathetically ignored the pleas to fight Prop 63 and so much other legislation that was brewing years ago.

And now, we will see an abundance of that to hopefully spread a lesson, and maybe, just maybe, influence a booting Newsom out of office the next go-around, and a larger force working to turn back many of California's Anti-2nd Amendment legislation of infringing on civil-rights and other tools of oppression.

the same thing happens every few years , ammo shortage, prices get jacked up

Walmart stops selling most ammo, it's all coming down like a ton of bricks

and people use to make fun of others that stocked up to save on the $1.00 background check, now you can see it's a lot more than that.
