Be sure to bring extra whatever you have that's cheapest to hand out to silly people that didn't get the message.
Be that guy on the range who swaps someone a full capacity mag for one of their undrilled ones.

If you want a good laid back shooting range in OC, try out OnTarget in Laguna Niguel/Aliso area. It's like stepping into a portal into a freedom-loving state when you walk through that door, amazing. 1 round per second limit still unless you come in when not many other people are around, and early mornings when they do LEO drills.

Could you imagine the look of pure freedom on their face as you hand them a brand new 30 round pmag...

I've always taken my standard cap mags to the range (which doesn't allow rapid fire). Nobody makes the effort to count how many shots you take before you reload. Even if someone tried to count, it would be difficult to keep track when there are shooters in multiple lanes.

This, only issued I've had was when I broke the rapid fire rule. Even than all they cared about was the rapid fire.

Forgive me if I am getting this wrong, but my understanding is that blocked mags were supposed to be "permanently" blocked to 10 rounds. The fact that you were able to "unblock" them makes me think obviously they weren't.

Haha. That dude is a trip....He came running in on the rifle side on me and grabbed my AR out of my hands because he said it looked like I was changing mags too fast to be legal....with a fixed mag Juggernaut kit installed

                        "Permanent" is not a well-defined word...anywhere.

I was going to ask if Sunnyvale Rod & Gun Club was actually in Sunnyvale, but then I answered my own question: NO, it's actually in Cupertino.

Manufacturers of 10/30 mags seem to have defined it well enough that modifying stock mags to hold 30 rounds (or standard capacity) usually requires some tools and replacement parts.
