Bought the original one a while back and then found a p95 to go with it. Haven't shot either in a while but i just cant see myself getting a new model even though I have a g17 now. I always liked shooting it maybe I'll bring it along this Sunday to the range of I might also just swap it out with the 870 police mag I use as an HD long gun.

By original, do you mean the Police carbine? If so, love to see some pics, if its not too much trouble.

        Cheers.

Original PC 9 Photos, I think they only made about 10,000 of them. Maybe they should be C&Rs?

Yep, like I posted earlier, I have shot the newer PC9, but I like my old Police Carbine better. I still have it, along with my P89 pistol and a supply of 15rd mags.

I have a 10/22 TD and I don't shoot it anymore, it's really just a survival gun kit to grab in a hurry. I shoot my Kidd 10/22s instead.

Thanks for posting. That seems like its in great shape! I had no idea until recently that the Police carbine was so similar.

Thanks, yep nice carbine and real steel, not that namibe pambie alloy or aluminum stuff

They make or used to make a brass catcher for it works if you don't put a rail on it. It's the reason I kept my P89 and the HiCap mags I had while in CA.

It was from a group of PC Carbines bought from a LE Dept in Maine and sold by a dealer on Gunbroker, once I got mine the realized auction prices went up cuz people had been looking for them but few were on the market.

I like it! Would still pick my M1 Carbine over it. 30 Car vs 9mm is a no brainer.

                        Agreed with the above.
I was pretty excited at first, but it just didn't feel right when you held it and fired off some rounds

At long last - 10 day jail is up at the end of the month. Super stoked.

Trying to decide on mags. I'm not a Glock or Ruger pistol owner, so whichever mag I buy will only be for the carbine. In that case, i'm considering just picking up 3-4 Ruger mags, since they seem to be affordable, well-reviewed and made by Mec-Gar, who I've had good success with in the past.

Interesting - it felt well balanced when my wife and I were shooting it. [shrug]

Very cool back story. Does it have any LE markings?

i would find pricing before deciding.

glock mags are so prevalent that there are always a sale somewhere for one of the 9mm version you can use (there are 3 OEM versions you can buy from the G17, G19, G26 with each being shorter than the other)

then there are the magpul made ones (they recently released their 10rd versions)

then the ETS mags, and i believe KCI & SGM but not sure if they make 10 rd versions.

i went with glock mags due to this, and overall low price point. magpuls are below $13 on sale, glock oem are typically $15-$20 on sale, and ETS (I dunno since i never checked)
