    Ruger carbine

Mrs. M2M and i took a PC carbine for a spin recently at our local range. Man-O-man...that is a COOL little rifle.

    -Lightweight
    -Accurate
-No malfunctions (with Glock mags, fyi)
    -easy to take down
    -easy to reassemble.
-Easy and ergonomic controls (for both my XL hand AND her medium hand)
    -Very, very light recoiling rig.

I absolutely think i’ll pick one up and right away i think this would be a great travel gun for me, for when we head out of town for local staycations.

Alas i dont have any Glocks or Ruger Semi-auto’s (and dont plan on getting any) but i still love the fact that i can grab 9mm to feed both my 9mm handguns and this carbine. Very cool.

Taccom makes some good aftermarket parts that enhance the Ruger PC Carbine's handling.

Yes, kudos to Ruger on the PC Carbine, it really hit the ball out of the park.

My wife and I both have one, and we both love ours.

My Brother and I broke ours out of jail last Sunday and echo your sentiments, OP! We both own S&W M&P 9mm pistols & think it's inevitable either Ruger or an Aftermarket company will come out with a M&P magazine adapter and adapters for other popular pistols.

It's on my short list. It felt a bit front end heavy to me for what it is. A slimmer profile barrel would help that a lot. Better sight's, but that seems to be a common problem with Ruger long guns. They are better than the one's that were on the original PC9 & PC40 though.

I'm sure there will be a lot of aftermarket support in the next year or so. At least they have figured out that proprietary mags may not be the way to go with other manufacturer's guns holding a lot more of the handgun market.

            Its a totally awesome rifle.

My fav 9mm carbine right now. I own a reliable ar-9mm pistol that takes glock mags, cz scorpion carbine, and an mp5 and now the PCC. I kinda like the ruger the best. Its all ambi, can swap the charging handle and mag release from side to side, yes the take down is super simple. Its compact when stored in a bag taken apart and mine runs flawless.

The tabs at the bottom fit the uncle mikes QD swivels very solid so sling options are endless (thanks to a forum member with this recommendation)

I think they hit a home run with this rifle, took me awhile to get it as well because they sell out so quick. My local small FFL only was able to get 2 in stock because the distributors are even limited and have to equally send them out to give other FFls a chance to get some.

Ive heard a few reports that the barrel nut gets loose and the barrel has some movement

the take down feature is cool, but it can loosen and have an effect on the accuracy over time

I agree with Nut N Fancy's review, it's a great recreational range gun, but not something for serious use like Go to WAR rifle, just a fun gun

it's on the heavy side for a back pack gun if you plan to carry it for long hikes.

Brought mine out to have some fun with non-gun people. They all loved it. I think that speaks volumes of how fun, easy to use, and unassuming the PCC is

If it's built like the 10/22 takedown, any "play" that develops should be able to be adjusted out.

I'm eagerly awaiting M&P adapter or better yet, XD or CZ. I'd love seeing it offered in .40 like the Kel-Tec is, though I'm not holding my breath on that score.

That was my comment, too, at the range. We were shooting my XD9 along with a few other handguns and i inserted my XD mag into the PC magwell just to see how different it might be, and to me, it seems like it would take very little to 3D print the inside of an XD magwell and the outside of the Pc carbine adapter.

Seemed VERY similar to the 10/22 takedown.

I've had one (threaded barrel) since early February this year, and have come to like it. I added a Leupold Delta Point Pro and a sling. I aquired it so my kids could have a companion Carbine for their G-19's, and they both really like it as well, and can easily hit squirrels to fifty yards. So far it gives best accuracy with Federal 147 HST's, but for plinking steel all the cheapest steel-cased Russian ball works 100%. While a complete takedown of all the components for cleaning is more complicated than some, we did not do that until it had over 1K through it.

Well if somebody fixed it so I could use my P85/89 mags I'd buy one, otherwise I'll stick with my old style PC9.
