Nothing yet, maybe he’s an owner of a fishing boat. I also posted a comment on the YouTube video asking which county he is located so we can try and corroborate with arrest records. I think he’s in San Bernardino county

The thing is I don't see FPC saying anything. There is nothing on their website or on face book or twitter at all. The only guy saying things is this "Daily Shooter" guy. There is one more video on youtube from someone responding to this video, that's it.

If they knock on your door just say you no habla, they'll assume you're an illegal, and wouldn't dare invade your privacy. Be sure to have your smart phone out.

It's not funny at all, allegations like this should be taken seriously and evaluated (and debunked) as a community, otherwise the FUD continues to spread.

We all know this story is crap, but also it's pretty clear that a lot of other people are buying it - at least two prominent YouTubers with probably hundreds of thousands of viewers.

Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

Seems like it's all centered on the Daily Shooter video. This guy has a fairly large channel with 100k subscribers and it's been viewed over 15,000 times since he put it up a few hours ago. With absolutely no corroboration on any of it from anyone it seems like this guy is a total FUD. The "DOJ has a laboratory to test compensators" has to be the funniest thing I have heard in a long time.

He's going to have to explain himself- this is extremely negligent. He seems to be an average gun schlocker type who does reviews and occasionally comments on CA laws.

If people have any real information we'd love to hear it.

                    Agreed.

The last DoJ "knock and talk" to be reported was 4 months ago. If and/or when they decide to continue that practice, we'll know about it long before any YouTubers do. For now, DOJ seems to have halted that activity, to the point that even someone who tried to register an SBR on accident merely got an email that explained how to rectify it so it could be registered. No door knock.

All I've seen on this is a couple of social media post (On calguns no less), a posting here, A posting on redit, a posting on mymilitia and they all seem to reference one of two youtube videos.

The first and most popular on by The Daily Shooter here https://youtu.be/SWsFkXagavw and the second by Guns & Gadgets here https://youtu.be/Z9KeV3kO3bo

No news reports or even some one on social media saying DOJ just did a compliance check on them. Just social media or forum postings citing of two videos that don't actually site anything.

Not even a local newspaper on this. something smells!

                          You'll find the arrest records.
What you won't find is their original ineligible BBAW registration form, or their prior felony arrest.

I'm just worried about all the plastic straws I have laying around the house. I tried to jam them all in my safe, but I'm sure the warrantless wrecking crew that is going to fast rope to my balcony will bring a lab to test the tile in the kitchen to see if there is residue from a recently used and dropped plastic straw and prosecute me based on that.

Such a stressful moment, think I'll dig into my supply of Rx pharma and calm myself down. I know they work, even if the name on the bottle isn't mine

In response to the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut five years ago, outraged California lawmakers launched a crackdown within months of the tragedy that has seized 18,000 firearms, including assault rifles, from thousands of people convicted of felonies, subject to domestic…
