i think even health checks need some type of back story/history

maybe a family member/neighbor calling in with concerns of another family member they haven't been able to contact

i don't think they can legally show up at your door and use the guise of doing a welfare check just to gain access inside - im sure they can ask, maybe even strongly suggest you allow them in, even tell you they are within the law, but, the bottom line is that without a warrant, exigent circumstances, or the belief that a crime has been committed, entering without permission isn't legal

the monkey would be on their backs if they had to prove they had cause to enter without a warrant - can't see where going door to door would even come close to that kind of probable cause
