I an not hoping for any violence, but as we saw with Rodney King,Fergison and other places that suffered destruction after the inner city community was misled by democrat media, it could happen!

My heart goes out to the decent people in those communitys who lose their, lives homes, jobs and business's because there is a media whipped up frenzy encouraging arson,looting and violence!

Just saying an arsonist or looter should be dealt with harshley!

Over 50,000 of them are from Ireland, alone. Mostly from Eastern Europe, but secondarily from Northern and Western Europe. From 1980 to 2016, almost the rate of 5 million per year migrated to the US. The estimates of just how many are undocumented is unknown, primarily because of the ease with which an European blends into the demographic background of just about any region of the US.

Using the same ratio of documented vs undocumented immigrants that is often used with South Americans who come, from 1980 to 2016, there would be an estimated 12.6 million using 7% as the ratio. And, that just going back as far as 1980. There was plenty of illegal immigration taking place from Europe to the US during the time of Ellis Island, out through the entire 1970s.

History is a drag when you start to actually study it.

We have an immigration problem, but it began long before there was a South American Immigration Problem used as political bait for the uninformed and the under-informed who don't do their homework. Right no, immigration is being tossed around as the most recent hot political potato - but there has been lots of other political bait used in the past to divide people:

Abortion. Hell, we don't even talk about that anymore.
Voting Rights. Used to be a hot potato used to get people in and out of office.
Segregation. An entire movement was stoked with this one.
War. Pick one. It was used as political bait at one point.
Crime. A drone of the 1980s. Vintage division material.

The list of political bait dividers is massive. Supermassive, even. But, hey. People love repeating the errors of history. So, we keep getting what we get in Washington and State governments around the country. Why? Because, we refuse to accept the truth about our own History and we love repeating its errors.

What do you do with so-called illegals? Create a cast iron path to citizenship and enforce it from this point forward. What do you do with those who are already here illegally? Mandate that they follow the law and immigrate through the proper channels with a time limit on meeting those requirements. It is not fair to require some to come by way of proper channels, while allowing others to flaunt those channels. Mandate those already here, do so within a specified amount of time.

Solving this problem was never hard. Getting into deep space and colonizing Earth II, is hard. Dealing with immigration is not. We claim to be the smartest nation on earth, yet we can't solve immigration. That's an oxymoron with emphasis on the moron. We can have a robust and diverse nation with a solid economy and we can deal with immigration properly - all at the same time.

This never had to become a political bait machine. Yet, a political bait machine is exactly what we have today and for no good reason other than politics, politicking, foolish pride and a refusal to accept real extant American History, for what it is.

Everybody got here on a Boat. The only exception to the rule are Aboriginal Americans. But, to get into that history, we'd have to go back more than 50,000 years ago at minimum. 10,000+ years ago the Olmec, were here. Those were my Ancestors. So, what are we really talking about here. Greed? Arrogance? Ignorance of History?

People love to come here. That should make us all proud. And, we need to have established rules for getting here legally. But, being arrogant about your legal status here, when your progenitors walked off a boat to get here themselves, providing you with a foundation that you never built for yourself, that's the height of hubris. Open boarders? No. But, shutting down boarders is not the answer either. If we run out of supportive infrastructure, we can temporarily put a pause on all immigration. Nothing wrong with that. We have to do what's right for the country as a whole and if suspending immigration accomplishes that, then so bet it. We can resume at a later time. This does not include those fleeing war and direct persecution in their own homeland, of course.

Remember, the vast majority of you got HERE from someWHERE that was not HERE to begin with. You are not indigenous. You never were. And, for the vast majority of you, your progenitors were trying to escape something in their own lives, to preserve a possible brighter tomorrow for their future generations. They saw the New World and later America, as the greatest opportunity available to them at the time. Nobody, considered them "illegal" or "alien" - unless you were an Aboriginal American. In that case, you no doubt believed the world might be coming to and end.
