I appreciate all your business and hopefully things will pick up in 2018."

Let's go visit the shop more. Everyone needs to do their part! We lost 2A Zone last year. I don't want to lose another of my favorite FFLs.

I'm going to target more transactions in that area and buy whatever consigned guns they have.

Ahhhh, about time . What goes around comes around. I remembered the end of 2013 like it was yesterday. I had stuffs shipped in to start the paperwork process and I was nothing more to them than just a nuissance. A person that brought money to their shop. I wanted to give them money. I wanted to buy toys but instead I got the attitude from that bald buy (the owner i guess). It got to the point where his dad had to give him that look " what the efff are you doing".

Thanks to them I found Jaime and Sandra and never looked back to OC Armory. Eventhough I had to drive a bit further to 2A Zone but it was well worth it.

So to OC Armory, effff you and the horse you rode in on. Hope you'll go bankrupt soon.

I like OC Armory. I have had numerous transactions with them over the years. Mike has gone out of his way to help me a couple of times and his Dad is a very pleasant person to deal with, made me laugh more than a few times. Maybe the new Turners has really affected them. I will deal with them over Turners any day. Perhpaps I'll stop in soon maybe buy myself a gun. I wish them well.

Harsh and I don't feel that way about OC Armory but I do have your sentiments about other shops. Many of the gouging shops that thought their feces didn't stink during panic periods are in the same boat or out of business.

They were shortsighted and didn't plan ahead or treat their steady non panic purchase customers right. You can generally only fleece those type customers a few times and never get business from them again.

Someone like me, treat me right and have the guns I like I I will literally spend thousands of dollars a year in your shop for decades. I buy guns rain or shine year round year after year.

The "bald guy" was not the owner but an employee. I never had a problem at all but then again, I just appreciated the way Mike conducted business.. .no nonsense. I would enjoy going in there to hang out and discuss gun politics and firearms when I was in the area. He handled probably $20,000 of transactions for me back in the day never thought him to be rude or disrespectful, however, he was to the point and suffered fools poorly...

I know Jamie and Sandra well, they have been guests in my home for social events and I shot matches with Jamie at out gun club. GREAT people!!! It was only a matter of time before they got smart and left the state...

No reason what so ever? Then what was the call back about?

No, hes not my type. I just have a strong dislike for people trashing someone / some business without stepping up to explain why the bad experience...It is usually their own fault or issues but they find it easy to hide behind a keyboard and lash out. As I mentioned, Mike suffers fools and morons poorly...

Some people just suffer anyone poorly. It cannot be denied that some business owners (especially gun shop owners) can be surly and a bit terse at times. It took me a few years to go back to Fowler's in Orange due to the tone and words a gentlemen used in a single sentence reply towards me when I went in there to buy a box of outrageously overpriced rifle ammo. That same guy is still there but age has mellowed him and he's actually quite nice and helpful now.

OC Armory is my favorite place to do biz with. He was a real
Leader in the OLL movement, when ONLY Mike and rifle gear would touch an OLL. He's probably one the the most knowledgeable individuals on how to get edgy stuff into the state. Yes, he's a M1A addict. Yes perhaps he shows stress - but honestly guys, most of us do.

If your an idiot mike will roast you, no doubt. If you are high maintenance Mike will send you elsewhere. But without a doubt he brought a lot of good stuff into our hands and never gouged anyone. Straight shooter all the way. If he closes we lose a tremendous asset. I will miss him greatly.
I love America for the rights and freedoms we used to have.
