OP, have you tried shooting these?

Less recoil and increase capacity, but only if it feeds well.

-Fill out the Form 1, you'll need to send in passport pictures and fingerprint ink cards too. One copy is sent to your local police chief, sheriff, district attorney, etc. Their approval is not needed, you just have to notify them. You'll also pay the $200 then.
-5-6 months later you'll get your stamp back
-Engrave your receiver with your name, city and state
-Send your barrel and magtube to a company for the conversion
      -Put the parts back together.

First off, this is totally worthless, and 100% pointless to build or do. But as others have said, I'm pretty much sold on them. Can any FFL file the forms? I was looking at just buying a Serbu, since I do not have the time to piece the build together. From your math, it seems like it's a couple hundred more to go that route. Is that assumption correct? Does anyone know of a San Jose FFL that would be willing to file the forms and go through this process?

You're looking at about ~$1500 total if you want a Serbu and ~$1200 if you get a KEG-12 through Safety Harbor.

I know Ten Percent Firearms and Superior Defense both sell them but they're are down south.

Interesting no trust needed I think I saw a pgo Ithaca build that looked really cool back when people were building these through trusts. Always thought the serbu shorties are neat and wanted one and it sure looks good with the ammo carrier.
I just got a old Mossberg factory bullpup and man it is so fun. These things were always in the movies back in the day. It's a really fun shotgun I like it a lot.

Correct. Plus tax ($95), shipping ($35), NFA online transfer (~$200), fingerprints & Ink Cards (~$50), Tax stamp ($5).

It's just a matter of finding a FFL in the San Jose area to do it.

That was only for people trying to get a Taurus Judge AOW.

Another quick? Do you need to fill/file form 23 (responsible person) for individual (initially I went the trust route but now I gotta change everything to individual)?
