    870 7" AOW

I just finished everything up today for my AOW and couldn't be happier. I know it isn't practical but I've wanted one of these for a long time. I'm going to try to take it out this weekend and see how it shoots.

Ouch! Don’t go eating KFC before shooting that

Do they make a 20 gauge version?

How much did that run you?

That's how I felt, the "cool" factor alone is worth it to me

I'm not sure if you Remington or Mossberg make a pistol grip only 20 gauge.

          I built this from a From 1.

          870 - $250
          Tax Stamp - $200
Passport Photos & Fingerprint Ink Cards - $40
          Engraving - $40
Work done at Safety Harbor Firearms - $350

So it was just about $900 for everything

That's really not bad at all considering.

Can you put a stock on it?
              How long did it take?

Stock not allowed... that would be a short barreled shotgun (shotguns are, by definition, shot from the shoulder), and effectively banned in CA.

But, having never had a stock, it's not a shotgun, and it is less than 26" OAK, so it is an "Any Other Weapon".

But, that's pretty swanky. If I didn't have the option of a SBS, I'd have one too.

Can not put a stock on it, that makes it an SBS.

The stamp took about 7 months to get, then about 3 weeks for SHF to do the conversion work.

Just saw this. Are these able to be shipped to CA? Any FFL dealer in the sac area?

How do you transport these? As a pistol locked up or a long gun in the trunk?

If you buy one already made the tax stamp is $5. Dunno if you can do that in Cali.

I’m still waiting on mine. I bought it almost a year ago. I went form 4 tho.

As the great warrior poet Ice Cube once said "If the day does not require an AK, it is good."

Can't find it just now, but someone offers a CCW rig for little shotguns.

So if 'cool' is the rule, a little emulation of Det. Ricardo Tubbs ought to fit in.
