OMG! Open carry!

So I make today a short driving day (truck driver). Only drove 408 miles. Could have, and usually do, 700 miles.

Stopped for the night (well, until midnight) in Laramie, WY.

So I go inside to the Wendy's at the truck stop. In front of me is a young man (mid-20's) open-carrying a 1911.

The reaction of others in the store?

Apathy.

No one targeted him to be the first one shot in a robbery.

No MWAG calls to Police.

No snowflakes yelling at him.

Just travellers living their lives.

Makes me happy.

For every person open carrying in a WY store, assume 2 dozen more are concealed carry. People treat guns there like milk and eggs.

Lol. Was in Monterrey this weekend, stayed at a nice hotel and in the room was a Kommiefornia propaganda magazine. Could'nt resist reading it. There was an article about the perfect Kali day, Written by some warriors wife, The perfect Kali day was wine tasting in Napa and having a picnic at Chrissy Field.

Oh and the articles about Richmond, Berkeley, and Oakland being hidden tourist treasures was hilarious.

I did a post on powered surf boards a few months back. You can surf anywhere with 2ft of water.

I spent a month in Rawlins Wyoming. Nicest people I've met in a long time. Everybody was open carrying. There was no crime, no graffiti and no trash anywhere.

Ha ha, that's because it's where we all stop and gear up once we clear the iron curtain. There's usually someone packing in the Cracker Barrel in Kingman too.

With over a year in Texas, I have only seen two people open carrying, and they were together. It really is not that common.

OP, I had exactly the same experience as you this week in an ice cream place, yes, here, not in Kommiefornia.
