I couldn't help but notice that your response focused on people's lack of reaction to your gun. You missed the point. I was referring to the risk of people from a snatched gun....not the comfort level of other individuals on seeing your gun.

For someone to snatch it they would first have to notice it.

Many open carriers (such as yourself) use their gun as a conversation piece or an "In your face" tool.

I guess I associate with a different caliber of folk, but no one I know OC's because they are "in your face" or as a conversation pieces, and that's a crap argument to even attempt to make.

In my world a gun is a self-defense tool & I don't need to show it off or use it as a visible warning like "You better not mess with me." People who study martial arts don't usually walk around dressed up in a karate uniform, either (unless they're trying to prove something).

Again, you ASSume a lot sir. I carry a gun openly for MY comfort, and the fact that it holds more ammo and is more useful tool. I could be a concealed carry commando and carry around an LCP or a Shield, but the ONLY reason I see to do that is when I must go somewhere that limits me to that tool. Otherwise, I will take the 15 rounds in my G19 anyday over 10rnds in the Kel-Tec or 6 in the pocket pistols every single day of the week.

I honestly could give a flying rats arse less about what martial artists do or do not do, now that you mention it.

People do notice. Whether they say or do anything that makes it apparent that they notice is something else.
