      Good point mikeovers.

I agree with you OP, the part that I think those people only get part of the story on is when things like Prop 63 passed. They see that the majority voted for an anti gun law, what they don't hear about or see on the news is all of us who voted no.

Oh way beyond Cali. I went to a nice school in West Germany from grade 5 to 9th. My dad got transferred back to states and wall comes down the next year. I have looked communist in the face. I hate seeing it again everywhere.

I grew up in Cali and have lived here my entire life. I've watched it completely go down the crap hole. I see no redemption for California with regard to a return to traditionalism or conservatism. This place is Sodom and Gomorrah and the anti-gunners have fifty times the $$$ and resolve and numbers against us sane folks. I see little to do in the long term than to move? Do we think the Bay Area, SoCal, Central Coast, and Norcal, and all the big cities and movers and shakers are going to stop their anti-2A stances? Western Civilization, sadly, has been on a complete confiscation and disarm agenda for decades now. Europe and Australia, Canada, and the rest are disarming and weakening their people at the speed of light. California worships Europe and dreams of a day we're all 100% disarmed and have to apply for special permits just to buy a bolt action .22.

I don't see this state returning to sanity. I plan on another 12-13 years till I retire and get my state pension. Then I'm outta here....

Do you guys see another way? Writing to our liberal congressmen and governor, etc. is a joke. Unless Trump can stack some more seats in the court, I think we're screwed there in the near future as well.

Of course people hear and see that. But it doesn't matter, because the majority vote for anti-gun laws.

Until that changes, you're just waiting to get screwed again. Unfortunately, I don't see that changing anytime soon.

                  Thanks Mikeovers!

Unfortunately California has a history of leading the way for good or bad. What happens here is used by other states as a blueprint for their gun control.

Ive argued with vendors who won't ship to CA that they should help us that are "trapped" behind enemy lines.

What California gun law battles won in court that have helped all gun owners are you talking about? Can you list them? It has been pretty much losses across the board. Even the rare wins in lower courts were eventually overturned on further review. Those losing precedents actually hurt, not help, gun owners elsewhere when they are cited by lawyers defending challenges to gun laws in other states.
                    Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

Every time a gun owner moves out of State, the Progs win. They want us gone.

I have lived in southern California all my life and I have also watched things go from bad to worst with our 2A rights. Every year California gets more liberal and crazier laws get voted in. Us gun owners are the minority in this state and are viewed as weirdos or crazy people. I have friends who left California for free states and they love it. I have been close to making the move also. But California is my home and I dont want to just give up and leave. I always try to reason with the non gun owners and encourage them to go to the gun range and rent some guns and experience shooting. Many of them changed their views and have made the move towards being gun owners once they realized guns are not so scary. We are outnumbered in the state but we do what we can.

No pity from me. My family and I left everything and everyone we had known our whole lives to GTFO. Logistically it was the most difficult thing I've ever done but I've never been afraid to take chances and after 3 months I have no regrets. Some of you will follow, most won't
