    When everyone says, "Just move".

I left California two years ago, and I hear this a lot from people in a free state. I am always quick to inform them they should support those in California rather then chastise them for staying there. You guys are on the front lines for the fight for our second amendment freedoms. The battles you win in the courts have impact nation wide and help all gun owners. We constantly support our troops on the front lines, and we should support those on the front lines fighting for our second amendment rights. Thank you for fighting the fight, and not going quietly in the night. Every battle you win in the courts is a victory for all. Your money, time, and tenacity is what keeps us all free. Rather then working behind the lines you guys and gals are in the trenches everyday fighting for us all. Thank you for all you do. I will always continue to support you in California, and spread the word of those hard fighting Californians on the front lines every chance I get. It's because of your efforts that states like Florida are free. If your ever in Florida you have a place at my camp fire, and I am proud to host you at my local range. Good luck and thank you!

No, thank you for taking the time to be so thoughtful and kind instead of being bitter and spiteful like most others that leave.

Thank you for the kind thoughts and support. Its good to know that there are people like you who can appreciate the struggle we have to put up with.

Its one thing to fight the ugly ones who are on the other side of the fence, its another when the people who you thought was on your side, leave and suddenly say many awful things as bad, and sometimes, worse than what the " enemy " spout.

      Thanks again.

Thanks. My family has been in So Ca for well over 100 years. It used to be a very nice place. If I could get all my kids, (all professionals with great jobs) to move out of state, I would. I keep trying. Roots run deep. And thanks for not being one of the so many *******s on here that move, then tell us all how stupid we all are for living here.

As a liberal in California fighting for gun rights its nice to hear a kind word once and a while. Guns are for everyone and we need to fight to fix this state and all states.

Also to make hunting affordable. Its so damn expensive.

Well said op....I like the way you think to say the least. You are absolutely correct it's tough to live here and the thought crosses my mind a dozen times a week to pack up and go and one day I'm afraid sooner than later I will. I will have the same mind set as you do....being humble and respectful for your fellow 2A brother is something that should be automatic. its tough to call California home with all this bs and nonsense but for now I will continue the fight and support the groups that help us fend off these ****heads that make life here tough and easy for people who don't contribute to society. Anyways I could go on forever thanks again for the kind words

Till you get the phone call or knock on the door from a Agent. It's ok just stay.

Remember there is only a 100 or so laws they can attempt to charge you with.

                You will be fine.

Not going against anyone but I took the advise of the movers and it has paid off 3 folds in every possible way. Either you believe or you don't.

FUD. Sigh. Knew it was coming.

How much 'California Think' have you taken with you to Tejas? A lot more than you realize, I'll bet. Ask your neighbors.

What a wonderful and refreshing post OP! It really distresses me to see the abject abandonment of those not in California, turning their collective backs on us. it almost seems as though we are thought of as part of the enemy or something.

We are under assault by the gun grabbers and it doesn't help to be chastised for chosing to continue to live in California. We're doing teh best we can under the circumstances.

Thank you very much for your position and we certainly appreciated spreading the word!

God bless you all! If not for you we would be enjoying our second amendment freedoms less. If the rest of the free world only knew what you all do. Thank you all!

It appears that most of the "just move" crowd assumes that the rest of us are as mobile as they are, without family and professional limitations on our ability to move states.
