No, I worry about it a little, but if a major disaster happens I'm not going to wait to make my most important firearms and ammo disappear. I already have a plan for that.

The people who live in the cities and close suburbs are probably screwed. I just don't see how they can search everyone's home even with help from the National Guard. But that's why registration is dangerous for gun owners.
sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.

A GREAT MANY of the people after Katrina lived in very affluent neighborhoods. With a massive influx of LEOs from other states bolstered by thousands of NG troops. They did whatever the hell they were told to do. "Just following orders" didn't work at Neurenberg, but it took wings and flew in New Orleans.

My blood boils every time I remember that JACK BOOT THUG of a CHP officer that traveled over 2,000 miles so he could BODY SLAM and BEAT UP a little old lady in her kitchen, for the crime of owning an unloaded revolver. What a fine upstanding example of what a police officer should aspire to be. [sarcasm]

Yeah, I know her and all the other victims of the JBTs after Katrina were "out looking for trouble". So they deserved just what they got. After all, How dare they just want to be left alone safe in their homes.

If there is a natural disaster they will come for your firearms you can bet on it.

Does smoking weed still make some people paranoid? I think I know the answer.

I am far FAR more worried about the calculated, intentional, and systematic eroding of our gun rights by the liberal A Holes in this state, than I am about the "confiscation in a natural disaster," scenario. I'm not saying it couldn't happen. Only that there's not a damn thing I can do about it now and that I'll worry about it if and when it happens. We have far bigger issues to worry about right now.

You open your door freely to the gun confiscation officials. It isnt happening here. My GGGG grandfather fought the British over that same issue. Read the Reagan quote in my signature.

Confiscate or not, I am not at home during the disaster. I will be bugging out.
