Brownells hasnt done anything wrong. You ordered online. They have the discretion to ship only to areas items where it is legal to do so.

What I'm trying to say is that the package that OP bought is not California legal, and it's not incumbent on the company to break open two new 10 round mags, separate the package that OP bought, and basically come out with a $70 loss for the company due to including state specific new mags that OP requires.
What are they supposed to do with the standard mags that came with the package you purchased? They aren't in packaging.

Maybe next time call them and ask before you buy.
It's a Glock 19. They don't need you. They will sell that Glock 19 within an hour to someone who doesn't need state specific alterations to the terms that they set, and they won't absorb a $70 loss due to breaking new mags out of the packaging. In fact they will probably gain $70 when the buyer purchases two more standard mags to go with the Glock he bought.

No, I think the moral of the story is that the majority of CG users are keyboard trolls and can't give a simple straight answer and be respectful when they say it.

Thank you nyy223, I got the idea about some bad apples after a few posts. I just asked for feedback and seemed like got vilified for "paying more" or "saving". Then questioned about my education lol. It would be nice if the gun community can be more respectful and band together because we are fighting an uphill battle. I know the bad apples aren't a representative of the gun community.
