You would have been ok at a less corporate and maybe smaller shop like Rifle Gear or maybe GrabaGun. Rifle Gear is my favorite this year - those guys have been awesome and fast my last two purchases. Only reason to go through them is if my LGS isn't carrying something and can't find it. Sounds like you have a good FFL if he will block mags and only charges $20 for his time. Any charge to block mags though?

Brownells Refusing To Ship My Glock Purchase

There is no possible way you are a second year law student "specializing" in anything (which, just so you know, second year law students don't do). A trained seal could have answered the question you asked about contracts law in your initial post. A second year law student never would have asked it.Anchors Aweigh

Brownells i awesome. Earlier this year I was traveling from TN to CA then to CO and I had them ship a tool ahead to CO. When I got there for some reason the chamber reamer I had ordered had turned into a Glock front sight tool. Called Brownells, they checked my order and info, apologized for the mistake, and shipped me the correct tool overnight and told me to keep the Glock sight tool. Easy peasy. Never had a single real complaint about them (or Midway for that matter).Fear is the spare change that will keep you broke

Interesting first post and screen name. You want to know if you have an enforceable contract so you can sue over a couple magazines? Cause this is exactly what is wrong with the world. Just have them refund your card, move on, and purchase a sku that has 10 round mags. This is so not worth your time...or ours."Kestryll I wanna lick your doughnut."

My FFL said he's received orders from customers where his shop received magazines that were over 10 rounds, where he would just keep the magazines if the customers didn't want to pay the extra money to block them.
No possible way I'm a law student specializing in anything because a trained seal could have answered my contracts law question? Interesting logic Mayor. I could make a counterargument to your logic, but I like to think of myself as a civil person. You would just make ad hominem attacks judging by your logic. There is no possible way you are a second year law student "specializing" in anything (which, just so you know, second year law students don't do). You can buy that gun all day long in CA for $499 .. seems like a TON of hassle to save $50
Why?
The problem is Brownells.. it's California.. and the cost of living here.Member: Patron member NRA, lifetime member SAF, CRPAOriginally posted by tony270It's easy to be a keyboard warrior, you would melt like wax in front of me, you wouldn't be able to move your lips.Comment

The FFL has to have a hi-cap magazine permit to do this..Member: Patron member NRA, lifetime member SAF, CRPAOriginally posted by tony270It's easy to be a keyboard warrior, you would melt like wax in front of me, you wouldn't be able to move your lips.Comment

I guess the issue I am having is if your FFL is that cool why not just buy the Glock from him? Although I think we all smart enough to see the game here, which is to try and get a pair of standard mags instead of actual 10rounders.
If you want standard mags that badly just run over to Cabelas and pick up a few and block them yourself.Fear is the spare change that will keep you broke

So the guy who does $20 transfers charges $21 more than most others for a G19? Seems like the math would work out...Fear is the spare change that will keep you broke

Just order them for about $2 more than regular $25 ones, pre-blocked and riveted. There's places online that sell those. $27.49 for G19 mags.
I always give my LGS a chance to order for me. He lets me know if something can't be located. He also matches prices if he can. What someone said about a relationship with a good LGS is true too. If you can buy local from local stock, don't stress over $20... but always do the math.Comment
