Since he is so worried about his reputation, you could tell him that, after you receive your money, you would re-contact people and tell them the situation was satisfactorily resolved. that might give him incentive to come through with your money. Of course, only re-contact after you have your money. If you are feeling really magnanimous, you could offer to tell people it was due to miscommunication/misunderstanding but everything has been worked out. Take the high road.

At least when you do have to take it to court, you show you gave him ample time to correct his wrong doing. So when he doesn't come through, it helps your case that much more.

I know he was trying to turn the story when he mentioned his ex gf, and he was in the hospital lol. Btw I shoot him a couples messages yesterday, and still got no response. I guess he is back to the hospital, and his ex took his phone again. 😂😂😂
