Glad to see you acknowledge that.

Wrong. UBC has done ZERO, and I literally mean NOTHING to prevent crime. FACT: If someone wants to commit a crime and they know they will pass a BGC they just go do it. Dorner? Holmes? This latest idiot?I mean lets get real, where was the BGC obstacle for them? And criminals that cannot buy guns legally have an even easier time just buying what they need from various sources. They do not even need to break into your house and steal it, which is a waste of time and a risk few of them take.

ALL a BGC does is harass the public and provide a mechanism for later gun control. In CO when they passed the UBC law, very few followed it. Those that id have gotten used to calling it a "TRANSFER" and often call it "REGISTERING" thier firearm. Well thats a Liberal gun control mechanism to get folks comfortable with the language so when they get around to proposing actual gun registration people think its already a law. Lots of FUD stuff.

There is no purpose of the UBC except to harass citizens, provide a roadblock that will keep the average "whatever" citizen from going through the hassle of a BGC. Nothing else.

We need to do away with the entire system. We need to repeal the NFA, and we need to repeal the GCA of 68. Not ONE THING in any of those laws has prevented a crime. Ever.

Its not about being legal to purchase. The 2nd has nothing in it about well everybody but THAT GUY can own firearms. Even ex-felons were able to own firearms until the NRA helped back a bill that prevented it. And IMHO, if you have paid your debt you have paid your debt and you should have all your Rights restored. Period. I will once again point out that the M1 Carbine so many of us love to shoot was fathered by David Carbine Williams, who was a felon who shot a sheriffs deputy during a raid on his illegal still site. He learned to design firearms in prison and actually built several prototypes in prison. He was let out early to work for Winchester and as a result the M1 Carbine came into being. In modern times, he would NEVER have been able to do that.

I oppose ANY limitations on ANY of the Amendments as written. And you should to.

Fear is the spare change that will keep you broke

Call him run-like-hell-when-shtf-guy or dial-911-guy but NEVER call an unarmed man "Security".

      It's about due process.

America is great because of our Constitution. Its Fifth Amendment states
No person shall be ... nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law
One of my high school history teachers told me it's better for murders to get away, than to punish a single innocent person.

That also protects us from government abuse. Under Democratic presidents executive branch agencies like the IRS have targeted conservatives. Consider what could happen to potential terrorists like NRA members with the FBI reporting to Hillary Clinton and no due process constraint.

That'd be much more likely to directly impact people like us than the rare extremist who does something with guns, Ryder trucks, or passenger jets.

Without our Constitution we'd be like any other country.

How is it that a person that is currently under a FBI criminal investigation can be a major political party's nominee for President of the USA?
