Not Gun Control but Purchase Control

I am all for the 2nd Amendment, what I am not for is people being able to buy a firearm from a legal dealer that definitely should not be allowed to purchase said firearm. How is it that a guy being looked at 2 - 3 times from the FBI be able to buy a firearm. This is the Feds screwing the pooch and causing us law abiding citizens more grief.

Lets see, he is a US citizen so he still has all of his Constitutional rights. If the Feds could not find anything to charge him with, he still has all of his rights, including his 1A right. The web is filled with rants from all sorts of people saying things that could be considered threats but are really just people venting.

There is no way to have a free society and a safe society, freedom has its risks.

The only way he could have been banned was if his ex-wife had reported his abuse of her when he did it, if that story is true.

If he was denied the purchase, there are still lots of ways to buy or get guns illegally.

Finally, with 300 people in the nightclub and one shooter, it would not have been hard for a group of people to rush him and quickly put an end to it. Yes, some would have been shot, but the shooter could not shoot everyone if a group of 50 were rushing him. Lots of things were available to be used as weapons.

The club was filled with too many sheep afraid of their own shadows just waiting to be slaughtered. Yes, a gun would be great to have for self-defense, but other things can be used and I would rather die fighting than die cowering begging not to be shot.

So, no due process needed in your opinion for Second Amendment rights. Being suspected is a good enough cause?

One of the victims hid in the bathroom and kept texting his mom to call 911. I don't get the leftist, they want people not to be able to defend themselves, but rather to cower in fear and call 911 and wait.... and wait some more. Works in what manner? stopping "gun violence", of course. We are not talking about stopping "all violence"

We all know if you remove ALL guns from the streets, the statistic of "crime with gun" goes away to 0. Of course we know that all those crimes will just be committed with knives, bats, etc. If noone fights back you still get deaths in the dozens.

But my point is, the only gun control that WORKS is a total ban plus confiscation. Anything less we know will only serve to turn the law abiding into criminals.

easy. We already strip felons the right to vote. That makes them, effectively, a non-citizen.

The rest of you? due process, constitutional carry (where we "police our own" and encourage training), unrestricted 2A, 4A, etc. Live in a world where we expect personal responsibility and personal freedom. (the conservative utopia?)

He was interviewed 3 times about 2 different terror related incidents. Nothing happened.
