The uppers/lowers/parts are out there but not in volume - Mainly from individual sellers -

Nice wishful thinking.

I see MORE "where can I find a..." threads now than 2 months ago.

A lot of that is people just now jumping on the band wagon. They're not even into guns and have no idea what they're looking for sometimes but the memo finally got to them that there *might* be a ban. I know cause I deal with at least 2 people like that every day.

all i know is that walmart is out of 45acp everyday pretty much the past 2 weeks. out of all the stores withing 25 miles of me, i only managed to pickup 300 rds of BB

Certain vendors started selling lowers for $300, but have they lowered their price? I went from $150 to $200 and my price won't be coming down until Spike's Tactical, CMMG, and others lower their price. I bet you can still go out and find plenty of guys who are selling lowers for their $300 still. I haven't seen anyone who raised their price to $200 or so lower it back down to "three months ago".

I am now out of LPKs. Uppers are all 12-20 weeks. Luckily I have some buttstocks left, but that won't do me much good.

The "this thing is going to end in two months and everything will be cheap again" crowd is strangely silent right now.

This thing might end, but I don't think while BHO is in office and even then, will the price come down? Maybe not.

I'll grant you that some things are incredibly hard to find. But that doesn't mean it's impossible to find them either. I found two places in Arizona last week that had PMAGs in stock. They wouldn't sell to me cause I live in CA, but that's besides the point.

I'm not saying things have returned to normally- obviously they haven't. But I have seen the hysteria has dropped a bit. We're coming into the 'slow' season for retail anyways. Doesnt matter what you sell - clothing, cars, guns, computers......spring is usually a time when retail slows to a crawl while people pay off their credit card debt from Christmas and get ready to pay taxes in April

Don't forget, the economy is still in the crapper and I think most people blew their "rainy day fund" right after the election. People don't have as much money to spend as they did a year ago and right now, most people have better things to do with their money.

Those are the last vestiges of stuff that's on the shelf in shops.

I guarantee if you posted it on arfcom they'd be gone, too.

Stuff is being replenished slower than it's selling, and that's the bottom line. There are still huge queues for everything, so what's to come won't help, either.

Well it's the gun buying season actually.......

So the sales are always depressed slightly around XMAS/NEW YEAR but they are still going strong NOW......

People are back to work and ordering from the net/phone...etc...

Supplies are still scarce....

We do have some stuff coming in but it doesn't last long......
I had 20 RRA rifles and they lasted about 1.5 hours on SAT, these rifles I had ordered last summer....
50 LPKS in 30 minutes....

Should have several hundred lwrs showing up but $$$ still won't be back down....

Have you tried to find a basic Mossberg HD 12ga at any distro.......or any Home Def type shotgun.......

Even those things are gone..
