Is the Hype over?? Will prices Be Going Down?

I notices a few more lowers on the board. I also know that a few FFL's are expecting their Lowers to arrive in mid January. Do you think the hype is over and now the FFL's will be dropping their prices.

Or

Can we expect another round of buying frenzy on or after Jan 20th? I know it's anyones guess.. Just wanted some thoughts or input.

I seen a good amount of lowers this past weekend at the Ontario Gun Show from as low as $185. I asked a couple different vendors if those (the lowers on display) were back ordered, they said no. They were all for sale and could be picked up after the jail time.

I believe prices will continue to fall as more and more lowers start coming in.

CZ (and Dan Wesson) just went up for 2009. Even at Bud's, the CZ-75B was $469 last week...now it's $500+

I tend to agree but there have been a lot more lowers on here and AR15.com for decent prices, not great, but better.

I find it pathetic of the prices I have seen so far on the lowers that 2 months ago were half the price of what they are being offered now.

As do I Mario, these prices are rediculous. I still have a few of those $59.00 lowers in the back of the safe, maybe its time to put em up for sale! Maybe I should mark them up 3x what I paid and still be lower than most folks!

Look, there's just a bunch of idiots right now buying up everything they can get their hands on. It's so sickening that even I have to ask why the hell do people need so many lowers for other than to go "neener neener neeeener, I have lowers and you don't". But rest assured, lowers supply will catch up. It is in the manufacturer's best interest to pump out as many as they can and sell as many as they can even if it means lowering prices to compete as other's will lower prices. All the fear mongering idiots will at one point or another blow their wad on lowers or have so many they can swim in it. Another thing, lowers are just raw material, they are easily produced, they are not made out of rare raw materials like Diamonds or something that have to be marinated in coal for a million years before it turns into a diamond.
