Thunderbeast, SRT and some others make Ti and SS cans that are au natural. An FFL with an SOT can in for repair or refinishing might also have a can in "the white" for testing prior to refinishing.
I was at a range this weekend talking about my legally owned SRT, Gemtech, and Form1 cans. A large part of that conversation is how I left them in Colorado as to not run afoul of the CA gun Nazis.
My Form 1 9mm can looks as good or better than most commercial cans, my .30cal Form 1 can looks like it was made in the combloc by slave labor. Dont draw conclusions not in evidence.
Everyone should own a suppressor or 4, its just the polite thing to do. I mean if more people used suppressors Chabot and other public ranges would not be shutting down.Fear is the spare change that will keep you broke

Your range puts the licensing at risk by refusing PPT's though. Out of curiosity will you allow full auto with proof of legal ownership? Lytle Creek told me long ago they also have same policy of prove you own it legal and shoot it. But they don't allow mags over 10rd anymore.Exactly!
At the range I work at, if you bring in paperwork; you are welcome to shoot with a suppressor.
If you are shooting a firearm that is not legal in CA (suppressed or SBR for example) and not FFL w paperwork, then we cannot let you shoot here. Some RO at other ranges may not care but we are an FFL and cannot put that at risk.Comment

They currently have a lease extension until March 31, at which time they will either get:
another extension
a new lease
an eviction notice.
It is very seriously looking bad for Chabot right now. If you nejoy shooting there I suggest you check out thier facebook and web page lease updates and call the East Bay Parks Department folks and tell them you support Chabot staying.
According to my (meager) research Chabot Gun Club has met every single requirement or demand the parks Dept has made, and it doesnt look like its going to do any good.
Funny thing, I dont even live here (really) and it bothers the hell out of me to see a range close. I hate it even more that its the only range that is within reasonable distance and I enjoy shooting there when I am here. Shame to see it goes, especially since one of the complaints "noise" could be alleviated with the required use of suppressors at public ranges.Fear is the spare change that will keep you broke

What I don't understand is that as soon as someone sees something like this, the first thing that happens is their panties get in a wad and their inner net nanny comes out and then they feel obligated to do is blab it all over the internet.
OP, why didn't you just STFU and keep it to yourself???

Actually incorrect on suppressors. The average joe can easily obtain suppressors in 41 states.Like I said earlier, you knew what it was and called it something else. 1 year and 1k posts and you don't know that for the average joe it is nearly impossible to aquire a suppressor legally. Seems like you made this thread to poke the bear instead of asking a legit question IMO.
The fact is in other states and there are 41 of them you can legally own a suppressor, SBR, destructive device, full auto rifle etc if you can own a gun, period. You just pay your $200 to Uncle Sam, fill out paperwork and wait your 60-90 days.
Suppressors and SBRs are quite common. So much so that there are thousands and thousands state wide that have them legally.Comment

UZI with 32 round mags are a dime a dozen man. I would be like I had one of those 20 years ago and got rid of it. lolIts funny when I occasionally bust out my Uzi at the range and slap in a 32 round mag how many youngsters come tell me how illegal it is.
The ones that ask me if its legal, I will explain it to them.
The ones that tell me its illegal, I sometimes act as if I had no idea.

I like when you start seeing real hard to own weapons such as full auto heavy machine guns that start at $50,000 to own one.Comment

Soooooooo... Anyone else have a suppressor at the top of their "I just moved out of CA" gun list?Originally posted by POLICESTATEAmericans who seek to take away liberty and property from others are not true Americans. You cannot be an enemy of freedom and be an American.

Well, this is Calguns, so the comment you are quoting is in regards to California. It doesn't matter what is legal in 41 other states.Actually incorrect on suppressors. The average joe can easily obtain suppressors in 41 states.

That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

Waaaay longer than that right now! I submitted the paperwork and check to ATF the first week of last August, and just got word last week that the stamp has arrived at my FFL. Current wait is right around six months.

Because on this board, for more than half the people, if they can't have it, you shouldn't be able to. I'm reminded of a recent thread where someone said if he had to get a background check for a pet then the rest of the country should have to.What I don't understand is that as soon as someone sees something like this, the first thing that happens is their panties get in a wad and their inner net nanny comes out and then they feel obligated to do is blab it all over the internet.

It's a disease of being a resident in a communist state.
Jump to conclusions much? Could have easily been talking about life in a free state.

Indeed. What really chaps my hide is that this idiot was eavesdropping on their conversation, took a clandestine picture and then managed to have it posted in this forum. Kind of reminds me of the days in Stalinist Russia where everyone was expected to inform on everyone else.MLC member.

"Hey you remember that jew Anne that used to live in our neighborhood? Yea shes hiding out in that guy's attic. I took a picture of her looking out the window. You know hiding a jew is super illegal here. We shouldn't condone any illegal activity. Maybe someone should tell the SS to go look into it."
These types of gun owners are scum. A poison to our cause and unamerican. Shame on anyone that would support these crap laws.Emotional appeal is a marketing tactic and not a foundation for effective argument.
