you never know, they might be somebody or nobody with balls.
In this gun business, I have learnt to Mind my business.
As a well respected Operator once told me, You think you know, but you really don't.

It's not that old since Washington just legalized the use of suppressors in the last year or so. Previously it was only legal to own them.

This. Keep in mind the term "machine gun" isn't relevant to the real term and "SBR" is also a legal only term. Much like "assault weapon" is a misuse of the real term. Laws make up/misuse terms and redefine classes of weapons.

An M240 is a machine gun. An M16 is a rifle. An M4 is still a rifle/carbine, as is a MK18. A SMAW (Shoulder Mounted Assault Weapon) is an assault weapon.

Outside of the US you won't hear the term "SBR" or "SBS"; it is only becoming a known term elsewhere because Americans always bring up the term or refer to our gun laws. Go up to Canada and I'm sure we'll have people asking about the "SBS" sold openly at the gun stores there like any other gun. A 10" pump action shotgun falls under the least regulated category there (Unrestricted) and you can buy and take it home in 5 minutes. Or have one shipped to your door.

Delco has been out of the solvent trap business since 2004 when they started sourcing from Champion Labs with the new E-Core technology that rivals only Fram in the category of "cheap"

Same time Bosch dumped Champion Labs as a source and bought Purolator because they make high quality solvent traps.

Didn't appear to be that way. Like I said I didn't get involved in the conversation. Just heard bits and pieces. Like "all you have to do fill out a Form 1", "anyone can have one of these", "solvent trap". That's what I remember. Another member will be posting a picture. Opinions welcomed.

Yes, you can legally use a solvent trap here. You can't shoot though it. How did they miss that?

So, I asked the OP if he wanted to email me a pic of the solvent thingie.

I took a screenshot and edited that, so there's no camera info in this pic:

I kinda doubt he sent the original to TPTB.

What I don't understand is that as soon as someone sees something like this, the first thing that happens is their panties get in a wad and their inner net nanny comes out and then they feel obligated to do is blab it all over the internet.

OP, why didn't you just STFU and keep it to yourself???
