Never had a problem with any PPT or new purchases from Turners in Corona, Rancho Cucamonga, Chino Hills or San Bernardino.

Use to love turner signal hill and the only thing about it that's good anymore is alex and another guy. Well, most of staff actually. but there is a really big dude there that likes to flex too much. That left a sour taste in my mouth about the company. I guess I could complain more but what is known need not be said.

Still a hell of a lot better than the stockade in Westminster. w/chuckle lol

I don't know how far you're willing to drive but the only other gun store in similar size to Turners is Ammo Bros in Cerritos (that I'm familiar with).

After an hour and half of standard paperwork (this being the result of the girl behind the counter 's wonderful generalship over the paperwork proceedings . . not to mention her complete lack of understanding of DOJ requirements . . somehow little Ms Turner employee knows more than 20 year experienced FFL owner. Ms. Turner employee has deemed that utility bills do not suffice as proof of residency - keep in mind the DOJ website explicitly states the contrary, in fact, even an wired internet bill is considered to be suitable - I make no fuss about it and retrieve my vehicle registration from my car


Also to note - there was a sign on the wall that said something to the extent that no firearms capable of being concealed on a person can be purchased within 30 days of each other . . no exception for PPT was mentioned

Well I guess you learned not to PPT at a Turners I haven't in like 14+ years. To be honest I am mainly through with Turners even though I have probably bought 50 guns there. I can always recommend good spots for a PPT if you need them. I really don't see a reason for me to buy much at Turners anymore in most cases. I rarely stop by any more ro shop at one.

i know Turners can be hit and miss. and definitely the wait times can be a total pain, but that can be expected out of a big chain. I've had mostly positive experiences in all my visits (Corona/CHills) although I have an instance or so where I wasn't completely happy with the service. I recommend going during non-peak hours, IF POSSIBLE. Otherwise, now I just head in expecting to be there for AWHILE...learned that the hard way.

I find your comparison of waffle house to Turners offensive. What is it at Waffle house which is as bad as a PPT at Turners? I find they have great breakfast, friendly staff, and I love the grits.

Sorry to say I dislike Awful House. I have a friend that insists on eating there whenever I'm back east. They have a history of racism too like Dennys. Mayne I should try the lunch items.

I liked them in the 90s any time I was out of town for work.
Went a couple of years ago and it wasn't that good... should have gone to Denny's if that tells you anything.

Last couple of trips it's been Cracker Barrel or IHOP.
