He left out rancho too. They have a no photo policy. If i just payed 1k for something, I'm damn sure going to b taking a picture of it to prove they didn't mistreat it during the 10 day wait.

What has to do w turners is my contract says 30 days after that it's a refund. I understand I'm undetermined that's on me or the doj. But my contract says after 30 days it's money back. They have me waiting for a letter from doj. I want my money so I can go elsewhere. Other ffl' will release to undetermined. Turners changed their policy four months ago from what I was told. Turners not giving me my money back and going against the contract has EVERYTHING to do w turners. And now that I think about it, it's their choice to release to undetermined or not. That in my mind means they don't support my 2nd amendment right, as I'm not prohibited and I wasn't denied.

I used to spend a good deal of time/money in the Turner's in Riverside.

You just have to take a deep breath and prepare yourself for the garbage spewing from most of the counter staff before you walk in.

I have always received solid customer service at Turner's. However, once the PPT was started I have had it take 1.5 hours to complete a single handgun transfer.

Meh, got it worked out in the end. Not a big enough issue to throw a fit.

Turners has probably armed the most Californians ever. For that...respect.

They are also consistently the biggest source of new NRA members. More respect.

Consistently participate in efforts to improve the sport and defend the 2a.

Does that excuse a slow ppt/DROS process or some bad info here and there? No. But I'd rather focus on the positive than work myself up over trivial things.

I'm positive they have some great guys and gals working there. Rude and kinda girly really, to bash the crap out of 'em online.

Defending the 2a would be releasing to undetermined status. Since they don't i don't believe they support my 2nd amendment. I feel this way because I'm not prohibited and doj didn't deny me. They left it up to turners by giving me an undetermined status. Meaning they had nothing to deny me on

I've done several PPT's at Turners in Temecula and they were all pretty uneventful. Certainly nothing to brag about and reason to complain other than time. Most times in/out in around an hour.

Turners in San Marcos was almost two hours for a PPT.

I have only ever done a couple of Firearms transactions at Turners, and neither were PPT. The purchases I did there had no issues other than dealing with the typically busy gun counter. And as far as busy gun counters, I've seen worse . . . ever go to Rifle Gear or Bass Pro Shop? . . . always bustling with customers. The staff at my local Turners (Fountain Valley) were courteous and helpful. That said, I probably would not go there for PPT. I prefer smaller, less busy, shops for that. In fact, my most commonly used FFL is appointment only, so there is never wasted time waiting, and I'm never dealing with hoards of other customers bumping into me and looking over my shoulder while I'm at the counter.

If Turners isn't working for you, there are lot's of other choices. Maybe find a small local shop and start building a relationship with them. Once they know you, they will likely go out of their way to help you out when you go there.

Funny thing is, I felt the same walking out of Turner's as I did when I walked out of Waffle House. Dirty, ashamed, and had to take a huge crap shortly after.
I find your comparison of waffle house to Turners offensive. What is it at Waffle house which is as bad as a PPT at Turners? I find they have great breakfast, friendly staff, and I love the grits.

                      Lay off Waffle house.

Yea did a PPT at Turners once. Waited about an hour but the gun counter was packed to the gills. Then again, they are busy (especially in the evening hours) in general.

I can say that one reason i wouldn't do a PPT at Turners is because they won't release if undetermined.

I had a PPT get delayed a couple of years back because some LE had written a SN down incorrectly on a theft report, and it caused the SN of the gun I was buying to show up mistakenly as stolen. I did not find out the reason for the delay until after it was finally released. This was before the 30 day delay limit existed, so back then the delay would just take as long as needed to sort it out. It did finally get sorted out and the gun was released to me . . over 100 days later. My point is that if this happened now, at Turners, it would have become undetermined after 30 days, and never released to me due to their policy.

                            Food for thought...

I'm sorry you're having a bad experience and I do understand your frustration. That said, defending the 2a is both an individual level and bigger than any single one of us.

Turner's does in fact defend the 2a, despite this policy that may be affecting you negatively. I can give examples but frankly it's not worth my time or effort to convince you if you're only worried about what's going on with yourself.

Good luck, you'll get it squared away I hope and one day look back and think it wasn't such a big deal.

                                Turners

Nothing but good PPT with Turners. Go to Corona, Rancho Cucamonga, or Chino Hills.. in that order. I have done 3 PPTs in the last two months. Just do not go on a payday after work lol! Or when the M1As are on sale below $1000. That is scary......
