Basically, he doesn't want "weekend warriors" setting up at gun shows without being licensed and doing background checks on buyers. His order directs ATF to enforce already existing law which has been overlooked on many occasions as they don't have enough agents to troll the shows. That will change with more agents being hired. He can't change the law although his big-eared conference implied that he did. At least Biden thought so.

The answer is not for ALL of us to follow the same "common sense" rules... The answer is to get rid of these nanny rules requiring us to go through the govt to sell private property.

Agreed 1000000% sure I can pass a bg check and have numerous times. Its not about that. Its about the govt. Infringment on the people to buy and sell their private property. Regardless of whether or not mandatory bg checks are in place for the entire nation, do you really think that's going to stop criminals from obtaining guns??

I think the only thing that is going to really impact people is going after NFA items bought through a trust or corporation which doesn't require a BG check. That's more so something that happens in free states but I know some CA residents use NFA trusts as well.

With this statement, it appears you've drank the liberal cool aid.

At minimum, we should be pre '68 with gun laws. and working to get pre '34.

No point in having a trust if they've removed the CLEO sign off. Just get yer NFA items to yourself.

The money for these new hires has to be budgeted by congress. Lets see what happens. There's many programs in the BATFe that are unfunded.
