Disney is at peak attendance more and more.
Disney has more than adequate security and police.
Disney has A LOT of pull with the Sheriff's of nearby counties.
Terrorist attacks will most likely be with pistols as they would have difficulty getting long guns in.
    Disney is a massive park.
The riff raff don't cause issues at Disney parking lots and surrounding areas due to heavy security and quite possibly very strict maximum punishment allowable by law scheme that the OCDA is more than happy to enfor

I have a CCW, would not carry in Disneyland based on the evidence.

I would be more likely trampled to death before I could get a clean shot off. The pistol rounds and the bodies around me should provide enough "cover".

As a season pass holder who got a pocket knife confiscated by Disney security I won't risk ccw there. I know it's probably a good idea to carry, but losing an $7 pocket knife is a bit different than losing a $500 firearm.

I forgot to take my zero tolerance out of my pocket one time and they saw it clipped to the inside of my pocket. They said I could "surrender" the knife or take it back to my car. I chose to take it back to the car and I noticed a couple of plain cloths security follow me out. I always leave my side arm locked in the car when I go. It's temping to carry inside the park given the current events.

Any credibility you may have had coming into this thread went out the window with the name calling.

              What law?

And what rule? You mean policy?

How policy is respected is up to the individual CCW holder.

...with some name calling and some"not one inch" people telling CCW holders where you are and are not safe, and where you should and should not carry.

And the " you can't possibly get a clean shot off" comments are just as bad as "totally hypothetical what would you do in this imaginary active shooter situation" posts.

This is what I find amusing about these Disneyland threads.

Will there be a Knotts Berry Farm thread to follow?

But Knotts is GTG. They just ask that you not ride any rides.

                      Huh

You really think Disney Security is unarmed? Don't let the few uniformed kid finders fool you. There are plenty more.

Good job slick, Disney just announced they are installing metal detectors at all its parks! Thanks for another long line.

                        Cheers,

Blurb on the morning news states that Disney will be installing metal detectors at all of their parks. They are also discontinuing sale of toy guns in the park and people over 14 will no longer be allowed to wear costumes.

They must have been reading this thread....

Though I'm sure this dumb thread had nothing to do with this recent announcement.....

But how bout everyone refrain from bragging about places they are carrying?

^^^^^^ Agree. Whole point of CCW is concealed.

You mean no more of these?

Little boys will have to resort to using sticks as guns, or shaping them out of a sandwich. Will Disney outlaw boys next?
