Indeed. Not sure how they can charge card 3 times and it almost goes through 3 times. Sounds like someone needs to be retrained on use of the credit card reader...

You should get one free punch at the owner/manager!

        Face or gut, he chooses!

        Sorry, not sorry.

I wouldn't be satisfied with anything less than the rifle for free and a reach around.

If This is a true story,
1-Screw that store and take your businrss elsewhere.
2- No body chages $150 fro a BB.
3- Name the store so that they would not pull the same douche baggery on other Calgunners. You should have no loyalty to store which displays such incompetance in doing business.

Let me take a wild guess, was this at RifleGear in Fontain Valley?

unless you are in the boonies, there are always multiple dealers around.
with middle man transfer dealers, you can virtually get anything now (longarm).

Last time I had problems with an FFL, they offered me some free ammo to make up for it. I got them to, instead, give me a steep discount on a transfer of a rifle that I wanted to buy online.

Everyone in the area wants 100 bucks plus DROS to do that, so instead of them giving me a 20 dollar box of ammo, they did the transfer for 25. Seemed reasonable to me.

I have tried to get out of state stores to make the Cali mods and then transfer. No results. I was lucky to find this store, and then this happens
                    Again what is this rifle?

                        First world problems.

They saw you coming a mile away...I bet they could pull the same thing the second time around and they would still have you trying to hand them your money.

What rifle are you talking about?

I'm guessing the store is Rifle Gear since they close at 7 and have a comprehensive selection of rifles for sale on their website. What do I win?

This. At today's market prices and with what LGS's sell ammo for, you'll most likely get maybe 2 free boxes = 100 rounds

They're willing to help you out from their mistske, but not take a loss on the transaction. If any (or most) store has a choice of giving you a 'huge' discount like in the amount of 500 rounds of ammo, or to simply refund you and sell the rifle to somebody else at the same full price, what do you think they'll do?

Don't be greedy as everyone makes mistakes, and at least they admitted to it and are offering some compensation for your troubles.
