I got there at 6pm I didn't get service until 6:40ish. I called my bank, but they closed at 7. The store closed at 7, and wouldn't let me go get cash. I called and have email explaining that I should buy it online, and after the Cali mods were made the transaction would be switched to the Cali version price. They instead wanted to make a separate transaction and then declining my cards. I asked to pay the next day or pay for the products on the website. But they couldn't let me pay on the website because the site said they were out of stock, and they wouldn't let me pay the next day after clearing anything up with the bank.Comment

I would walk away or take the free ammo and be done with it. What rifle was it? $150 to "do Cali mods" is insane unless it's something rare and hard to convert (also hopefully that fee includes the FFL transfer)
Also, aren't most credit card company services lines open 24hour? I've called Chase card services at some pretty strange hours.Last edited by lorax3; 03-11-2015, 11:36 PM.You think you know, but you have no idea.

Thing is they are the only ANYTHING selling this rifle. I asked a FFL closer to me if they would do a transfer from a store in Cali selling it Cali legal. When I told them what it was, they said they couldn't do the transfer. I'm stuck with this store. I have busted 3 guys on Armslist that were scams. I have tried to get out of state stores to make the Cali mods and then transfer. No results. I was lucky to find this store, and then this happensComment

I am going to buy the rifle from them, its the only way to get it. I have tried every legal thing else. Just wondering if you all were to read a horrible review about a store that did this, what would have to happen in the end for you to feel like you could trust this store and want to shop there? They are a 5 of 5 star store. I think there reputation is precious to them. So, I want them to be able to win over more customers by the way the fix this computer problem that inconvienced me, but is an opportunity for them to win over customers. So, would 500 rounds win you guys over? or would gas money and or 5% win you over?Comment

Stop trying to blackmail the store and just get your damn rifle with whatever nice deal they are offering you.I am going to buy the rifle from them, its the only way to get it. Depends on the shop. If you get your rifle, Id never comeback there again. And also would post their name.Comment

sounds like you really like this rifle...suck up the bad experience and enjoy it once it is in your hands
i doubt they'll extend any type of cash to you...the ammo, or something else related to the rifle accessory wise is probably going to be your best betsigpicComment

You have every right to be upset, they cost you a 2hr drive and you'll have to wait another two weeks before even beginning another DROS. However, the important thing to take away here is that they admitted their mistake and are offering you something for your trouble. That's already amazing in today's world, so as angry as you are, please try to give them the benefit of the doubt. See what they offer you, accept it if it isn't something trivial, and let it go. Just imho, 500 rounds of ammo doesn't seem realistic here.Comment

Dude, if you want the rifle you're going to have to suck it up. A minor mistake was made and you're acting like they stole your identity. Talk about making a mountain out of a mole hill, take a damn day off if you want your little rifle soooo bad. I think they should comp the entire rifle for you or give you a new car...Comment

i own a auto repair shop, i had customers who's card got declined and upon talking to their CC issuer got the overide or limit raised. all he had to do was call his CC company that night and they would had resolved it. CC companies have 24/7 support so you can always get help even half way across the globe.Dude, if you want the rifle you're going to have to suck it up. Asking for 500 rounds is a bit much. At least they admit their mistake and offered you compensation. Take whatever you can, enjoy the rifle, and suck it up. You admit it yourself that they are a 5 out of 5 star establishment. Give them the benefit of the doubt.Comment
