The flash suppressor does not come attached to the shotgun, it is in a small box with it. Whether or not the flash suppressor is displayed on the sale rack depends on who made the display.

      Oo thanks!

I'll admit I'm a noob when it comes to shotguns. Had a 590 that I modded but sold since the recoil wasn't very fun for extended range use. But regret selling since I at least wanna have 1 shotgun on hand.

Your Big5 carries S/A? The ones around me in So Cal don't. I have a week left on my 10 day wait for the Escort AimGuard Tactical S/A from Turners, it is 18" where as the MP is I think 20". I have read nothing but good things about these guns, FYI for the AimGuard you can use a TacStar Benelli Nova 2 round extension tube to give you 7(some say 8) rounds. Not sure about the MP

They had it for $160 or so a few weeks ago.

FWIW its the 1st time I've ever seen a semi-auto HD shotgun at Big 5. The guy at the store I normally stop at said the stores here in San Jose each got one. It took 3 tries to find a store that hadn't already sold theirs.

The turners in Orange (socal) had plenty of the semi auto MP-a's in stock. as well as the mp pump. Both are 18"

Read post #15. The guy copied a post from someone who successfully installed a tacstar 7 shot extension on the mp-a. I saw the pics too when I googled it and found that forum he got the quote from.

I wonder what the differneces are in the AimGuard Tactical Semi that I bought at Turner'sand the MP-A are?

AimGuard- Picatinney Rails on the receiver and Fore-End
Adjustable(elev&wind) Ghost Ring rear sight and Hi-Viz front sight adjustable(elevation)
Tac2 pistol grip stock with 2 round holder
                  5+1 2 3/4" and 3" shells
                  Chrome Molly Receiver and Barrel
                  18" plus muzzle break

Does the MP-A sound the same?

The Escort S/A is the first tactical S/A shotgun in Big 5's regular lineup.
Picatinney Rail on underside of fore-end
                    ghost ring sights
pistol grip stock w/ 2 shell holder
barrel is 18ish" with optional muzzle break
                    5+1 capacity

There are Stoeger and Mossberg S/A hunting/sport shotguns that have been available for several months.

Big 5 is also doing special orders from companies such as Remington, Benelli, Mossberg, Marlin, Savage, & Stoeger.

What about the American's that work in the Big 5 store, the American's that paved the roads going to the store so the (hopefully American) truck driver could deliver the Turkish goods? The good ol' US of A is still getting hers.

Stopped by the jail tonight and peeked in the box. One black flash suppressor was grinning at me from inside.

How much did you pay? The regular mp-a is going for 379 right now. So if that's what you paid it's probably the mp-a

All the pics of both look identical.

My reciept said both models combined so I got confused (aimguard mp-2), maybe they just got all the names confused, or the aimguard tactical is the same as the mp-a and they can be called either or?

This shotty is getting really good reviews. I had my heart set on a Binelli but this might work for me.

Hmm, might have to sell my collectible Mossberg bullpup to fund this.

Love to hear some range reports on those that have purchased it.
