Beretta A300 Patrol

The first video says the 1301 is softer shooting. The second video says the 300 is softer shooting.

I heard both about my 1301 before I bought it. Some reviews were saying its pretty soft shooting. Others were saying it kicks a bit for a semi. One guy on a different forum said it was so bad, he sold the shotgun.

I didn't find any issues with recoil on my 1301 Comp. Maybe the longer barrel and extension I put on help. If the A300 Patrol is anywhere near, it should be fine.

I have one. Not concerned about chokes - it's a back of thrle house defense gun, using slugs and heavy 00... M4 is primary, at front of house and for outdoor if needed.

Thile model listed is a good choice for my use.

Yes I handled several of these at SHOT, I liked it more than the 1301. It is lighter and just felt better. The price is better too.

MSRP of $1099 plus the new price on the 1301 being jacked up to $1799 should direct sales to the A300, which is exactly what Beretta is trying to do.

I like the way these operate also. I think they've got a winner.

Interesting. According to their official specs, it's supposed to be heavier. It was something like 7.1 pounds for the A300 Patrol vs 6.6 pounds for the 1301 Tactical.

I ordered the limited edition tiger striped version last week from shydasoutdoorcenter.com for $1,118.00. Order was placed on the 8th and it still says awaiting shipment. It was in stock during the ordering process, hopefully this doesn't turn into a backorder or something else. I'm kind of stuck, I picked up a 940pro holosun(unfired boxed) last week from a calguns member its going to be ready to pick up tomorrow. Going to put one of them up for sale after a head to head comparison.
