          KingAir
Wait for your real TrapGun to clear the 10 day wait and let the others use an A300.

KingAir isn't a hunter so he doesn't have any bad habits yet and with a little bit of coaching he should learn pretty quickly.
I read all the time where people suggest you start shooting with a 22 long rifle to learn the wind or a 308 for 1000 yards.
I don't agree with either of those ways of thinking.
To my way of thinking if you want to race motorcycles get a motorcycle and leave the mountain bike at home.
That's the reason beginners are always buying a new gun so quickly.
They soon discover you need a gold pan to get gold and while a spaghetti strainer might look similar it isn't going to work.
That said if you have a shotgun by all means start shooting and you will quickly see what your needs are and you can make a better decision on what to purchase.

Lifting there head to see the bird is the biggest problem.
Next would be not following through with the shot.
Next would be fatigue. Very few bird shooters shoot 60 rounds in a day but most trap matches are 250 birds plus some practice.

Those mistakes will cost you with any gun in any venue.

                        Exactly
So why learn with a gun that promotes a condition you don't want and will cost you birds?

And this is why I don't shoot trap, too much drama.

                            (Plus it's boring as hell)
