22LR Shortage OveR?!?!?!?

Lots of 22 rimfire at the gunshow this morning. The price was much lower than Big5 ammo prices. But still too high for my mind. Maybe I just need to succumb to the fact that price is 8 to 10 cents a round, take it or leave it.

Have never paid anywhere near 8 cents a round for .22 ammo. I will not pay more than "normal" retail and I have plenty. It is out there at Normal pricing if you put in effort and can be there. Stop supporting the flippers and it will be plentiful again.

If you look at the Gun Show, you will be screwed. Unless you have to work 7 days a week. You can find it at Walmart with effort at good pricing.

I do not even go out there unless Brassbadger or Ammocan says it is in stock..brassbadger is much more reliable than ammocan

Sadly, that is becoming the new norm. Hopefully those who are buying off of flippers come to their senses and stop...

I was able to pick up 2100 rounds of mini mags from Cabelas online a couple of weeks ago.

I have found a few different times where I have been able to add more than one box to my cart. The first time I ordered the 2100 rounds... have tried it again a couple times and it works.... but at 8.99 + shipping it is not exactly cheap, so I haven't ordered anymore.

Plus I am still hoping my 5k rounds I have on back order from midway will come through at around 6 cents around, I will hold off for that.

walked into one of our 2 walmarts at 8.30 this morning and they had gotten in m22 and 555 round boxes of winmchester and 225 remingtons. all that was left when i got there was 11 boxes of the 225 round stuff so i got my 3 and a guy right behind me got 3. the other wallys hadnt gotten a truck in yesterday. i think the 225 boxes were right over 11 bucks each before tax

Some guns just don't like it. My friends 10/22 would fte every few magazines. My 795 ate it pretty well. Never had any problems with it.

I've only shot the Armscor 9mm 124gr but my SAR just loved that stuff. I've also heard of many other people that like it too.

I don't mind Champions, but I wouldn't take the Armscor even if it was free. I bought a couple of bricks once, and I couldn't wait to get rid of it.
