EDIT: All you nuts worrying about 'lifetime supplies', what are you gonna do with that ammo when obama confiscates yer gunsz!
Not a lifetime supply. Not even a post ban supply. Won't happen. Either people sack up and fight, or we join the Limes and Kiwis and turn in our nuts. Preferably it never comes to that. If it were a "disaster confiscation", I and most will do what is pragmatic, but expect lots of these:

Oh and just to make sure an ammo find makes it into the ammo finds thread at least once per 5 pages, MW added another premium match selection.

Dunno about the hoarders or flippers but I sure am here to help one another. Cant blame myself when ive reloaded countless rounds and stockpiled before and at the height of the panic yet the only ammo I am purchasing nowadays is 22lr or 7.62x39. Sitting on 30k+ ammo is more than one will ever need bit that isnt just 22lr, that is various calibers ranging from 22lr to 308.

There is a good chance we were buying stock meant for the stores but C designed it that way not thinking it would be used as it was. When you change the HTML of a page that technically is a hack and if you could get an item into a cart before it showed in stock on the main site that would technically be a hack.

I'm all for checking stock with a wish list as that is built in and a function of the site. A modified function of the site could get you in trouble!

Technically, if the wish list shows stock before the main site then they should fix that I guess but it wouldn't be a result of monkeying with it.

All we need is a way to check stock and be first, post it and share like we did before. By the time it made it all over the net the people working hard to spot it would have theirs.

I know of two ways built into the site to check all 22 stock. What I don't know is if it will show it before the item page does. If not, we need to keep the checking method a secret and be first.

I've known for a long time how to enable a download button etc so you don't have to fill out the survey or some crap like that.

But hacking a national site doesn't sound like a good idea and then logging the evidence in your bank account! Not too bright!

Also, I think the cart links make them a lot of money on tents, boots, hats and "dresses" hahaha!!! Anyway, I think it is temporary and will be back.

What they need to fix is their inventory system to be in sync with the main site. When they scanned a shipment it went in inventory but the main site didn't update for a while, so we grabbed ammo with cart links because hitting checkout actually checked inventory and allowed you to buy it.

Now, after they disabled it I wonder if some of that ammo was flagged not to be listed on the main site ever...because Blazers were up 3 days and never went live on the item page.

Others were on gunbot and the item page in minutes but we were done by then. Maybe the links were just getting hit so much the killed them to reduce the strain on the server.

If so I think that was a mistake because now a million people will be hitting everything looking for ammo when we used to be able to check in a few seconds. Now it'll take several minutes for me to check and increase the load.

If the only problem was server load, they'll fix the links. If it was us buying reserved ammo they'll do something else like fix it where reserved ammo doesn't show up in the same system the site uses or find a way to block cart links from that ammo.

This is their first day and I think over the weekend we'll see big changes! Stay tuned.

Good, cause between the reloading, the job, the household duties and whatever else comes up, trying to squeeze in evening programming courses might have been a bit much.

I went by the big five near my house, and they said the shipments come in on thursdays but people line up to buy it two hours before the store opens.

Big 5 Torrance had the snakeshot 22lr stuff. Never seen any 22lr on shelf in my life near there.

There was alot of 22LR at the Fresno Show today. Open tomorrow as well.
Yep...extortion, but it is there and buckets of it. Rem 1400 at $149 and he had cases of buckets, cheapest I saw was $50 for a Fed 525.
                        Some were $90 a brick..lol
Spencers has a Tuna can for $31 out the door.

Walmart in Lodi had ONE 50 pack of CCI Stingers...

Ridgecrest Walmart had Fed 550's and CCI this morning. 3rd time this week they've had "some" .22

It was funny when I walked up at 6:30 for a 7 am "roll out" and there were 13 people in line already! Thought I was screwed until I found out they'd gone BACK to ONE bulk box per person.

for California residents, building a lifetime supply of ammo is a rational, prudent course of action.

if that interferes with the ability of free state residents to find ammo, too bad.
+1. CA will ban internet ammo mail order at some point, just think how screwed we would be if we could not order .22 ammo online now.

Now is the time to stock up, period. If you have the money buy all you can.

Outdoor sportsman is usually gouging when they do sell. Haven't ever seen much there. Are you from lodi? How is the walmart there?

My buddy was about to get 3 525's from trinity walmart the other week.
