I had 12,000 rounds in my cart. Just couldn't checkout. If my wife had ordered the same, it would have set me back about $1200.00. So yes, you can charge a lot of ammo on a credit card. Add to that, the bonus cash back rebate or whatever the promo the card companies give you, it can get you into trouble or get you a lot of ammo in one shot.

Dear Minor,
Click on the link above and read the L.A. Municipal Code. If the link doesn't show correctly, start at Chapter V, Article V. But its probably best you read the entire MC (you might need a dictionary for some words like 'prohibited', 'ammunition', 'restriction', 'misdemeanor', et al.).
BTW..it's not illegal to ship ammo to L.A. It's illegal to accept a shipment within the city of Los Angeles (which includes the community of Northridge). Many companies will not ship to L.A. because there is ambiguity on how the MC is written (i.e. does sender have knowledge of the MC?). Its a business decision on their part not to ship.
Another reason why school vouchers are necessary. Public schools are failing society.Last edited by Bushwack44; 03-28-2014, 4:07 PM..

Here's the actual ordinance:
The restriction is directed to vendors, not buyers, and the City of L.A. can't enforce the law on vendors who aren't located within it's borders.

For those of you who have a Visa Card with Cabelas---Have you noticed that you can't view your pending charges---You have to call them to verify what they are---The cs there said if enough people make the request to add that option it would probably be done---So if that's you please call and request to be able to follow your pendings as well as the paid----1-800-850-8402

Yeah. It's getting tedious to find the finds here. Might actually be able to buy something if we didn't have to scroll through so many unrelated posts, such as mine. Now that I'm done being a hypocrite, lets find some 22 ammo.Watch Astro steal brass and take it into his cage....

This has consistently been a thread to post finds (links), discuss finds (order successes), and light ammo finding related banter when all is dead. There are strictly enforced links only threads on other forums (S&W forum is often recommended) if that is your preference.
This should not be a bickering about who's legal, post about what laws you skirted, flame someone for allegedly being illiterate, etc thread.Up for rent...Comment

I went to Bass Pro in Manteca today. About 15 of us standing outside at opening time. When the place opened, we all moved briskly up the stairs to -- stare at an empty ammo shelf. No .22s today.
But the ammo guy told me they will have CCI MiniMags tomorrow 100 round sliders. I believe the limit is 3 so it simply is not worth my time going back. But if you want some...Comment
