Turners in Orange had (3) GB buckets on the table when I got there at 10am. (1) of them was still there when I left at 11:15am. They were going for $100/ea. Not cheap enough for me to want them, but 7.7 cents/round after tax isn't horrible for a Turners.

Good grief. And when you factor in the time these guys stood there at their regular hourly rate, the ammo was probably closer to .25/round. What a joke.

Just got off the phone with customer service @ Cabela's (I know, I know)....I had an order for the Blazers from 2/7/2014 when they were still $24.99 a brick that was cancelled by Cabela's for the reason "customer requested cancel", which I did not. The customer service rep honored the previous price and placed a new order with a total of $30.94 with an estimated delivery of 3/25/2014. FYI, they will only do this when the product is in stock, and they are still up right now. Thought I would share in case anyone else had a previous ordered cancelled on or around the same time. +1 Cabela's again. Happy Plinking!Comment

Didn't work...they were OOS over the phone. The phone rep. told me that his friends have been looking for .22lr forever. He obviously wasn't a member of Calguns.

Discount gun mart in SD had bricks of blazer for 29 plus tax, funny watching grown men max out debit and credit cards to buy 4 bricks of 22lr. If you're that broke probably shouldn't be buying ammo, probably need to start a savings account."They show us what's missing in our lives, and how to love ourselves more completely and unconditionally. That call to order thing never works. Many have tried, many have failed. They had that "call customer service" for months on the Winchester oak boxes last fall. AFAIK no one ever got one by calling. Speaking of which, my empty oak box is up to $24.50 on (insert name of giant auction site here) It was only $19.99 when full of crappy ammo. Reminds me of that old joke:
"First prize is an empty Winchester Oak Box"
"What's 2nd prize?"
"A full box."Comment

That's been up there for at least a couple of days now. I was hoping it might become available via the Internet. Cabelas use to do that. Put up the "not available online...." then within the next day make it available online. It didn't seem to happen this time.

Stopped at local WM this morning around 1130.
No .22s as usual
I did get 3 100rd value packs of Fed. 9mm = $84.07
$14.01 bx out the door.
As good as its going to get.
Fun part is I wasn't even there for ammo
I was even driving the wifes car so gas was "free"

Yesterday the mobile WW showed me they received Win 333 at my nearby store so I was there for the put out. There were only two cases delivered the previous night, both Win333. I guess the regular guy was sick as the floor manager dealt with us. I was first and I asked for the 22lr. He grabbed a few and turned around and asked how many?? I was floored. For the past year, if the box contained more than 300 rounds, one per customer. I said three, please. He nodded his head and rang it up. There were six people waiting, they all got three. We think he did that as he wanted to get rid of it as he didn't want to be bothered. Most of us went to the range that afternoon and shot for an hour or so.
