The CCI/Speer case to the left of the Choot Em's bulk boxes and the Winchester case of 333's dead center are both from Walmart. I recognize the shipping labels we use on them, and the d-bag who's selling them pulled off the perforated tabs showing price and other info, such as the store number etc...
Edit, I thought I attached the picture but I guess I didn't. Too lazy to go fix. You'll have to go back and look at it on the other page again lol.Comment

So it's been a pretty slow couple of weeks on the 22lr front, so I was wondering if anyone else had some funny UPS/FedEx delivery man/woman stories.
I only thought about this because I have both ends of the spectrum come to my home. The two UPS guys who deliver to me are both in to shooting and always give me a "nod" of approval whenever they drop off a box of ammo.
The FedEx guy is the exact opposite. He's kind of undersized and overaged, and every time he brings a box to the door he has a moderate grimace on his face like his back is about to go out (or his lady parts are sore, take your pick).
Granted, he's had to drop off a couple of 50lb crates of 7.62x54r lately (I said "sorry man, I know that's a little heavy" to which he griped "that's an understatement!" wahhh wahhh) but he even labors up to the porch when he brings my Gander Goodies™ (am I the first to coin that phrase?).
Anyway, I thought it was funny. FedEx delivery guys are whiney wimps and UPS delivery guys are mensches.

I don't like to discuss my firearms with strangers.
The doorbell rings. It's UPS. I was wearing a "I Don't Call 911" T-shirt.
He took one look at me and asked "Ah, big-time gun guy, huh?"
I said no, I just got the tshirt as a gag gift.
He said "OK, here's your 60 lbs of ammo." and rolled his eyes...NRA Patron Member
I've written up my ongoing adventures as I learn to hunt.
Yes, you CAN fit a case of shotgun shells into a .50cal ammo can.
I think i found an optimal solution for ammo can labeling.
I made this target for the NRA's Marksman pistol test. I think it's a lot better than the paper plate they suggest.Comment

I wonder why UPS guys are so nosy. I've had 3 different UPS guys ask when they're delivering ammo "so, what did you get?" I'm thinking, "Guy, it's none of your ***kin business!" But I usually just say it's "camping stuff".I don't like to discuss my firearms with strangers.

i dont ship mine to home anymore since i have nosy neighbors and the UPS guy kept giving me a smirk everytime he would drop off a package or pass by my house delivering to other houses.
i just pick it up at the nearest sort center since its on my way home from work.
but then again the guy at the counter recognizes me by name now

Because finding ammo of any kind is the new American Hobby. I wished I had not just lost all of mine in a boating accident. I could have sold it in the contributors thread. Where is the ammo?Full Size Jeep.Comment
