Has anyone heard anything about that new Remington plant in Arkansas? It is planed to open 2nd quarter 2014, and will double there 22lr production capacity. Other than last summer when they broke ground, I hav'nt heard a peep. That should be a few drops in the bucket. BiggB

I've heard this is well, that should help get availability back to a half way reasonable level.

CCI and Winchester need to do the same, if everyone doubled or tripled production capacity the shortage would be over.

So just as an aside....
If anyone has or is lucky enough to procure Winchester Super X in the red jewel boxes, people on Ebay go nuts for the empty boxes. Just went and vac sealed 1200 rounds of it to sell the empty boxes. So far it's knocked the price per round down from .08 to less than .04/rd
