Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

CCI 40gr in jewel case for $8.49. 5 box limit. Just a little over 9cents a round. Not badThe man who trades freedom for security does not deserve nor will he ever receive either.

I think its because it takes up as much line time to make but usually doesn't sell as fast. Maybe even more line time because they have to change over for a shorter run. When I was a kid the shorts and longs were less money than the long rifles.Comment

For the same reason that 380 ACP's ($38 for Win) cost more than 9 mm ($26 for Win). The 380 has a shorter production run than the 9, so less is made to spread the setup and run time costs over the number of rounds produced. The shorter the run, the more costly the item. Just like 303 said in the previous link.Actually Sue's HusbandComment

Good Call! I have some Danish M855 .. packed like surgical instruments .. and with the NATO head stamp of course. PMC (South Korea) makes M855 .. crimped and sealed, but is not a NATO country .. hence no cross head stamp. I did see an authorized listed manufacturer for M855 .. in Taiwan .. also not a NATO country .. I have none, so can't say as to the head stamp or crimp/seal stuff. The new stuff coming in from Lithuania looks good, but still kinda pricey.
And for sure .. I wouldn't touch USGI LC M855 with a ten foot pole if it was offered for free. That'sa beegga trouble amigos"I don't work for you!" - Joe Biden

So there's lc stamped M855 all over the place. How is it illegal? The X designation as I understand it is seconds that don't pass mil inspection and get resold in commercial bulk. Same cartridge as I come to understand it. I have Fed XM80 that is stamped LC 11 with the nato cross in circle.Comment

per Midway's copy: "This Federal Lake City Ammunition has been loaded and passed true NATO specifications. This is the same ammunition that is currently being used by the US Military and met their strict quality assurance standards and specifications."
afaik its the same stuff.Comment

Well I'm positive mine's legit.... I got it from a major vendor a few years ago.
So no dice on sending it to you to safely dispose of 303. I was born at night, but not last night!!
The 855 stuff might be questionable in some LEO's eyes as it designated penetrator tip which they may interpret as armor piercing.
But this is the rimfire finds so we've digressed substantially from topic here.Last edited by covingtonhouse; 10-05-2013, 8:02 PM."I don't work for you!" - Joe Biden
